Any recommendations for lubrication for those stiff joints on this thing?

I have both DABAN and NBK and I'm keeping both cos while NBK is slightly simplified, I do like the improvements they've made.

As for Computron, what's holding me back is the weakness of the alt modes. Just doesn't excite me. Strafe is the worst. Doesn't look like anything, especially when you compare it to MT's version.

    Overall, I like the combiner.

Bot mode, Alt modes. There's some defects like a stripped screw and a pin that fell out of another, but I'm a fixer type and have tools and plastic weld and gorilla glue for any issues.

I still want the computron combiner figure that looks like a Tron light cycle. Gotta track that down.

So has anybody got the actual Warbotron reissue yet? Or is the 'reissue' actually a KO? Pretty ballsy using the Warbotron name if so!

I'm actually looking at this set for bot modes - probably the only person who will - but it sounds like the instructions are trash? Hopefully they actually CAN separate lol.

I actually think the latest box set is a high quality KO. The finger color is different, the connecting pieces between the feet and leg are died cast in the original release but plastic in the box set.

My reissue had these hip pieces in backwards they didn’t flip down like their supposed too. I took the back apart and flip them around and now the figure is great still no diecast thou. 275CA65A-A9B6-4DE2-B939-8D840B679806.jpeg

Haven't checked those hip pieces yet (at work) but I do know my Afterburner had his chest put together wonky so his right arm was flopping all over the place. Not sure if they just didn't put it together right or it had flash but one side had a huge gap. Fixed it after screw removal and little internal filing but still, I'm saying the set is well worth $150.

If it's a KO (still not sure either way) it's a damn nice one.

I've been following the re-release of this set, and just as a heads up for anyone on the fence - it was originally re-released at $150 from BBTS, then that stock ran out and the new pre-orders went to... I think it was $179, and now it's in stock at 197.99. Just a heads up if anyone has been thinking of getting it.

A $50 increase? That seems extreme considering the price last week.

Yeah. I've noticed that BBTS will have clearance pricing on something, and then when that sells out have a pre-order up for regular MSRP or higher. I don't 'blame' them or anything - I use BBTS quite a bit and like the store a lot. It's still a good deal on this set as far as I can tell - I just wanted to give a heads up to people who may be on the fence before it goes up again?

Mine is already in my stack, I am curious how the Computron will break down into separate bots, because I am going to use them as separate robots next to my TFC Terrorcons coming.

That's exactly what I'm doing with mine display-wise. They seem pretty nice and accurate to my eye.

Most likely due to the increased shipping costs from overseas.

I know that's what I was thinking but $50? And it's not even a pre-order. They've got them in stock which means it's the same stock I just bought last week for $150 so not any additional shipping they had to account for out of the blue. Just hard to wrap the "Why" around it is all *shrugs*

Its the sale price %. It's no longer at a higher % off. Plus there is only 6 left in stock. Has nothing to do with shipping and import fees.

The connection pegs between Scattershot and Lightspeed/Nosecone, my copy needed a good sanding.
