They do stick out a little, but not that much as it looks on that picture.
Remember with the tanks under the sleepercab (where they need to be) they look wider than they are. They are mounted directly onto the framerails where the fifth wheel is located.
they are in line with the front-fenders widthwise. I have 242 pictures of The Peterbilt alone to back me up ;-)

the BA prime’s fenders sticks out behind the tanks that are already to wide to be a match making the width 10mm each side, (20 mm total) making him V shaped rather than I shaped. pics show BA prime (L) to the Leader mold (R) witch has the fenders where they should be

I was pretty much in the same boat. Wanted a NemesisPrime/Scourge to face off against my M01, and BC had the better 1:28 truck. BA has a much better robot, of course, but the rear axles sticking out so far throws off the scale of the truck.

While the UFO trailer's a bit short proportionally to match the 53' trailer from the film, against a 1:28 truck like BC, the box scales near perfectly (height, width, length) to a 40' trailer. You'll just maybe want to mod some larger tires onto it to replace the ones scaled to the slightly smaller Leader.

That said, now that I'm looking at Bee-Movie-Prime to replace my M01, most of the OS options seem to be closer to 1:26-1:24, so I might need to hunt down a BMB Nemesis Prime to replace my BC.

That's the angle of the pic making the fenders appear wider than they are. Here's a straight down angle. The fenders only go a smidge wider than the sleeper.

Yeah I know the UFO trailer is to short and he is more of a 40 foot trailer but I am not upset about that.. I mean he would need a LOT of space if it were the 53'trailer.. so I am good.. The wheels are a thing to look out for, thanks!
and the BMB Prime is still available on a lot of places, try Sirtoys and such.

That is exactly what I mean.. I could not find a proprt pic to show it so Thank you for showing that picture!

I did the measurements. If you add one panel to the end of the trailer, it would be pretty close to being 53ft scale. I thought about it since the panels and doors are screwed on. Then an additional donor trailer became impossible to find.
    No prob.

    oooh, I see.
I was wrong cuz I was comparing the fenders with the toolbox, and the toolbox is deeper than the gas tanks,
so my depth perception was affected. Hehe, my bad.

Those things still stick out noticeably in my LT02 copy. With the BC being an upscale of MPM04 (LT02), I don't think it will be much better than BA in that way.

Here is my LT02 and BA prime comparison :

They're Robots in Disguise, not vehicles that become robots. Their in disguise, so maybe their altmodes aren't perfect but rather approximations?

I have had the MPM but sold it due to scale. There are things you can do to tidy him up more. Besides that the toolboxes are a more natural size on him.
Keep in mind that with language barriers remarks like this could be read as an insult, just cause I feel different over Black Apple’s Prime is no excuse make fun of me.
but I hope I misread that... Why would I buy a toycar? I collect transformers just like you, I only collect them With other preferences. keep an open mind,
I want the altmodes as close to the moviecars as possible since those were real to begin with. BA has a perfect robotmode but the truck is as important to me as the bot. I am weird like that ;-)

Don't worry, I don't think there's any insults in their comments :)  Blue means sarcasm if you weren't aware.

Anyways, does anyone else have the problem where his face doesn't line up with his head? Here you can see his face is a bit off centre facing slightly to the left.
    IMG20200503001946.jpg
Oh and, I tried using a tiny marker to make his eyelids thinner and painted white dots on his eyes. I think it looks significantly better.

Insulting is a bit of a stretch but for sure there is a bit of shade thrown there because of your obsession with the accuracy of the alt mode. It will not be unfair to say that majority of collectors will look at the robot mode accuracy first before vehicles and understand that compromise might have to be made on the alt mode in favour of a more accurate robot mode.

So the remark of getting a vehicle replicas at this point is not unfounded because that will literally give you the perfect truck mode that you seek.

Lastly, for all the excellence of the BA minus some minor some compromised in the alt mode, it is indeed a bit of a head scratcher to trade that for the vastly inferior BC version.

It is almost like trading an MPM04 for the original ROTF OP because it has a better truck mode proportion.

I didn't scrutinize but will in a few hours (work) but isn't that because of the face change thing?....but you gave yours eyeliner?
Oh, and I just checked a video actually and I think that might be on all of them, lol...for the face rotation one. I think the other face is aligned.

It looks weird. Have you tried rotating the face? If it does not work, you may need to unscrew and fix it.

Wasn't throwing shade or trying to insult anyone here, I was just stating a fact that at that point, I myself would skip the hassle and just buy a replica of the truck. You do you.

Besides, at this point people should know I don't throw shade, I go straight for the neck when I want to insult someone.

So, to continue the topic of scrutinizing our figures. When this was released, and when everyone was saying how his head was too small...did any who owned the others, official to Blue Circus to Black Mamba, ever say the other heads were too small too? Some people took BMB heads and put them on BA, but this basically meant BMB was "too small" too, since it was a slightly bigger size. Just curious.

Like I said, the robotmode is close to perfect but I prefer to display them in carmode like I stated.
I dont collect modelcars but Transformers.. it would be odd to have "just a modeltruck"

I never said that that I believe it was meant as an insult, I said that it could read as one. It is an international forum and for some people (like me) English isn't the first language.
witch makes reactions sometime read different than intended.

Glad you didn't go for the neck, it would have ruined my Tan witch is hard to get for a Dutchie ;-)
If I felt it was intended as insulting, my reaction to you would have been different, all I said it could read as.. Since English is not my first language.

That is like me saying to you that You could also just buy a Prime1 staue or what was that kit called that had the most accurate non-transforming Prime..
why bother with one that has a truckmode if you only care for the robot?

I am on a Transformers forum.. meaning I want it to transform as well, I just prefer the vehiclemode.

Yep, thats what I did, it didn't work unfortunately... Gotta find another way to fix it somehow.

For me, I don't think any of the head was too small. The reason why BA's head looks smaller than the others is due to his chest gap being bigger. The early prototype had a much more compact chest and his head doesn't look tiny.
