Most IF figures I have, you're better off unscrewing the screw in the back of the head.

    Just got my Tarn.
Deserve any penny. the price is pretty nice for this quality design. Transform is simple, yet effective. Both mode look good. this figure deserve a 10 despite the flaw because of the price and size.

That being said, Its really just a few improvement away form 20/10.
They may have better range of articulation than Voyager or studio seri. But this is about 20/10 so... the figure waste a lot of articulation because it backward, therefore useless. if only there is a rotation in the hand and leg. So they can use all these wasted range.
I bet they put the effort for the Combination. 5 DJD to form a giant Tarn, Imagine that, i know it is a big project of them.
as well as this is one of the first of IF start to have more joint such as the new abs crunch

Anyone know a replacement option for an iron factory pin? Got a Kallaite and the nose cone was missing the pin.

by any chance, would a paper clip be able to fix that? Looking at my seekers right now, and one of those paperclips with a rubber coating outside of it may work.

Gotta be careful with tips...they can always lead to little problems.

I would like to know how, for future reference, but if you have the time and means to go ahead and make one, that would be great

you are better off using "finishing" nails for carpentry. they are hard and not flexible like the soft bendable metal used in paper clips. you can also try the nails in packs for hanging picture frames, which are readily available at the hardware & thrift shops like home depot, walmart or even dollar stores. just have to find the right thickness and cut to the length you need.

Never think about this. but the leg and hip joint can act as fully arm joint for a combiner, even without intended but it just work. Iron factory could actually make this a thing and apply to all, or most, of their figure to attachable to the combiner hand and torso. IF can have this Energon/superlink thing of their own.
Edit: just to be clear, from the page i find this, they didn' say it really combine, like just open the box. It probably attach to the hand and the torso by some custom way.

That looks pretty cool. Now they just need to make an Autobot combiner.

Hmmmm, I wonder if that was international as a design choice.

It would mean a potential Menasor could be made.

not by choice. The hip and leg joint just work perfectly as the joint for combiner arm

I could use some advice. I've amassed quite a few IF figures now and plan on many more as they become available. Now I could use some advice on display options. I typically display my other TFs on basic shelves, but would like some sort of nice (but cheapish) enclosed display case for them. Ideally table top or wall mountable.

Anyone have any suggestions to share?

There’s probably some ideas in here, but it may take some scouring...
