I had a lot of fun chatting and brewing last time we did this, and I know things are slowing down on the TCG scene right now so I was hoping to kick start some more conversation! I've been having fun brewing and proxy playing Wave 5 so far. I plan on streaming tonight and the most popular request I haven't fulfilled yet is Megatron Fallen-Hero, his star cost is rough to work with, but I like his strat and was thinking about if I could get 3 attacks out of him. I've got a couple different versions cooked up to test tonight but wanted to see if anyone had ideas they were working on, or feedback for me! Here is the most extreme example I can think of. Just trying to max bold out as hard as possible and playing a weapon and a pump or direct damage every turn. I have a 3 wide version, I don't know that he wants to be mixed pips but would love your ideas too!

Yeah, it worked out surprisingly well in the aggro environment too!

I don't really feel like going through a 2 hour and more video atm... So, does it work against wide decks? Like 4 characters?

I have two versions of a Wave 5 Megatron deck now... both use Wave 3 Impactor as a partner as well as Clobber with Revenge (of course!) and Villainous Spotlight.
One version is mostly orange with bold, while the other is orange-black with a focus on Weapons to compensate the loss of some orange cards.
So far I think it works, though it does struggle against blue decks with big cards (like Galaxy Optimus) with a focus on Though.

Note to self: I really have to get into FortMax to show my Decklists here on TFW...

I think there is a struggle against wider lists in that they can focus 3/4 characters on Megatron when they get wide like that there tends to need to be some target you can send Megatron in with supporting fire to kneecap the team, otherwise you tend to die from attrition.

I tested my version against a 5 wide team from a friend (Air Strike Patrol + Jet Sky Shadow in a blue/damage variant)... Megs has a nice Tank Mode side.... while he tried to get past Megs, his affect damaged them to a point where Impactor could take them down even with a bad flip.

Ooh I dig it. Especially the idea of swinging bold a billion and having Steamroll to hand to get 2 KO's. I do wonder how often you'll be relegated to playing off the top of your deck though. I could see dropping copies of electrified spikes and/or rock tosses to get some card draw in there besides wedge formation. I also wonder about having only 3 weapons in the list and no way to bring Lionizer back after he dies. Jaws of Steel is basically another weapon, but I'm also tempted to drop some matrix copies to add more weapons in there.

Like I said, it's a rough version I just brain-vomited in a few minutes. Probably should have 3x Quartermaster and 3x Sturdy Javelin in there, probably for the Rock Tosses and Beligerence (which can go Sideboard).
