If it doesn't transform, XTB has a chance to deliver a solid figure.

 

Understood that this is just a custom but I do need that Megatron Gun/Spike/Autobot Spike’s Face display case.
(With the MATRIX replacing Autobot Spike’s face.)

Is it possible this will be released with XTB’s version of Autobot Spike?

I think a more appropriate name for this figure would be "Autobot Nail"  

 

Any sense of the height? Are we talking Datsun Bros, Ironhide or prime.

I expect the best ratchets and articulation ever from xtb since this doesn't transform

 

I’m expecting Trailbreaker/Ironhide height because they gave him that Frankenstein’s monster feel. Actually Prime height looks accurate.

I'd guess anywhere between Takara Ironhide and Inferno. Not quite as tall as Optimus. That's just me making an educated guess though.

I think he’d be smaller than Koot so he scales to MP-28 Hot Rodimus. FT sized up all the season 3 characters.

 

Zoom in the photo of the back of box on the lower righthand side. He towers over Sideswipe and Sunstreaker.

 

I think his question was less what was in the toon and more what the size of the figure was in reality. The box you are referring to is a fan made custom figure not the XTB version. In the toon, Autobot X or Spike was Prime height but it looks like the figure might be Ironhide height.

 

Doh! My bad. The big Takara Tomy logos everywhere should've tipped me off...

 

It looks beautiful and we all get excited. This board makes us all kids again with anticipation.

 

Was there a new drop by XTB? Tydirium Hangar said they did in his video for the pvc one

I know this thread is kinda dated, but does anyone know if this is still coming from XTB?

I have the Blue Lobster "X-Frank" version, but the sculpt on the XTB prototype looks amazing!

 

Xtransbots is dragging their feet on this one and Dr. Egg. Neither transform so I don't get why they are taking so long.

Saw that the Blue Lobster Autobot Spike (X-Frank) got released and almost picked it up, but came back to this thread first for a quick comparison and the XTB version really does look better... Gonna try to hold out a bit longer, but I hope we get an update (maybe even a release date?!?) soon.
