Got my notice from ShowZ this morning using their new shipping method. Let’s see how long he takes to get here.

 

I'm getting mine through BBTS which has $4 but that's fair, given that's their universal "you could ship literally over a thousand dollars worth of stuff and only pay $4" shipping.

 

He's just arrived, and oh boy is he a big lad. Super stiff tolerances, super tight joints, to the point that I was a little worried at the noises when I transformed him, but he's rock solid and purple and gold and just the utter nuts. The near total lack of accessories he comes with is a little noticable, but honestly not that bad. Overall, I really like him, I continue to love MMC

 

i'm surprised no one did a video review on him yet, or i missed one?

 

Anyone else got not one but two red stag cleavers? Not that I am complaining, lol

 

Theirs a chinese review. US copies far as I'm aware haven't hit US yet and any that have came from psx n went to folks who aren't reviewers.

 

Got my notice from Bababobo this morning, figure as arrived, but shipping is still screwy, so I paid the extra $20 to have it shipped now rather than wait. Hopefully it goes better than my other order with China Post that appears to have still not left China after 23 days now.

Edit: And just got my shipping notice from Baba, looks to be China Post standard.

Got an email from bababobo asking me to add $14 for shipping. Which makes it more expensive than other ebay options. Not sure if I should go with it or not. Somewhat annoying

 

It's an unfortunate sign of the times, still. You can always request they hold it until the cheap shipping returns, or cancel and order elsewhere, but there isn't a huge amount of savings elsewhere anyways. I stuck with Baba more for the fast post sales support they offer in the event of missing or damaged parts.

 

I got also got a mail from Baba asking for an extra $17 (when I checked out it I chose EMS free shipping and not the hold it option). Really don't want to, figure's expensive as it is already.

Still not a fan of the facesculpt. It's not that it's not accurate enough, it just looks a bit...puffy.

 

Yep, the face should be more pushed down inside the outer "helmet". It is rare example when MMC did not nail the headsculpt, unfortunately. Otherwise, amazing and steady figure, I am really have to own it.

 

Clearly he's been eating one too many brain modules recently. Nickel needs to have another stern talk with him about that it seems.

I think the face looks off because it is silver instead of grey. No idea why MMC started doing that with their face sculpts, but it really makes the sculpt look puffy. Not a deal-breaker by any means--this figure still looks like the best thing MMC has done in a while--but I didn't like it on the head that came with Jaguar either.
