Shelby Township Walmart: No Hotlink. Multiple Netflix UM’s. We grabbed the last Scrapface. There’s a few SS Shockwave’s left.
Walmart at Hall Road and Romeo Plank had the new display out. Handful of Wheeljacks and Mirage. In the actual TF aisle there was 1 Netflix Sideswipe, a couple Earthrise Astrotrains, and 1 Earthrise Grapple. Almost nothing in terms of Studio Series.
the wiki has this: The set was originally available through Entertainment Earth, but was subsequently also offered by other online retailers. Not sure how they got to meijer but it's a good figure if you don't have it
Hi everyone! The West Saginaw/Grand Ledge Walmart does indeed have their Transformers Netflix display up in the middle of the aisle by the toys. They also have the Earthrise figures there. Hoist, Ironworks, Wheeljacks, Cliffjumper, StarScream, and Grapples. On the netflix side, there were 2 or 3 Megatrons, 1, maybe 2 hotlinks with their 2 Battle/Targetmasters, along with everyone but Magnus and Scrapface(MAYBE?). I picked up a Wheeljack because I never had one, but left the rest. No Battlemasters there or in the normal toy aisle. This Walmart is downright crappy on stocking toys so I urge you to descend on this store is you are looking for any of these figures. Additionally, I'd really like a Battle/Targetmaster multi-pack like the micromasters at Target last year. We saw something similar a few years back with the Power of the Primes when they had the Optimus Primal/throne convention set with 6-8 Prime/Powermasters. Japan put out a few of these kinds of collections for headmasters in the late 80s, too. Lastly, if anyone is looking for Star Wars Retro collection Empire Strikes Back figures, this location only got 1 set. I know this because every figure but Boba Fett was there and I bought them. Further, they were all marked 1/2 price to $5.00 for some reason. When I got into the checkout line, the gentleman (and his wife) that had picked up the lone Boba Fett figure were in front of me. We talked about the toyline and he insisted I accept the Boba Fett figure. I refused, but he seemed sure and I thanked him. I've been having a bad week and it was a very nice gesture. If you're here, I'll be looking for ways to pass that positivity on. In other news: Per the HissTank sister site, Walmart will have a GIJOE A Real American Hero retro set with a few vehicles in the next 6 months(?). Also, I have had nothing but trouble and disappointment with Walmart's pre-order website: I ordered the Star Wars retro Empire figures in March, only to have them send me delay (and cancellation) emails before sending one telling me that 1 figure (Yoda) was now available for me to pickup at a store in another city . . . . I didn't notice this until I tried to pick it up at the West Saginaw and the assistant pointed it out. That's when I went to the toy section, on a lark, to see if any of the set were there. I expect the same situation with the GIJOE retro set later this year . . . . (sigh) Barring some amazing surprise figures, I think I'm done collecting after I have my hands on Scorponok: It become too time consuming and disappointing trying to find these figures. Meijers, Target, and Walmart are terrible at stocking and it just isn't worth it to me to drive to other cities. Finally, I want to thank everyone that posts here: You have kept my enthusiasm alive and helped me get some figures I really enjoy (including that $50.00 Trypticon at Ollie's years back!).
Warp 9 in Clawson has a couple ER Optimus Prime figures at $60 as well as several Ironworks figures and the Refraktor 3 pack. Still has MP44 as well.
The Walmart on 14 and Van Dyke has at least 4 of each Netflix Voyager, a bunch of Netflix Siedeswipes and Hounds, and a lot of Earthrise Wave 1 Deluxes and Grapples
Meijer is selling the Studio Series Drift with Baby Dinobots set for 19.99, 10 dollars off, for all of this month. It is on their "Brand New Toys" end along with the Nerf stormtrooper guns and the MLP Pirate Collection
Walmart at M53 and 23 mile Bunch of Earthrise and Netflix. Also Studio Series Scrapper and Sentinel. I almost left with Sentinel but it had a tiny paint splash on the left forearm. My OCD couldn't handle that. If you don't mind minor paint imperfections he's sitting in the back of the voyagers.
lol.yeah they seem to be everywhere now. My son and I picked up that Spark Armor Optimus, and its riot. VERY fun. So we went to find some more, and they have all POOFED off all the shelves. If you guys see where these went, or if there are any around let me know. Those things were on shelves for what..a year? and now POOF.. There is a new website called BLINQ, and it says they deal in clearanced stuff. I tell you what..if Target,Meijer and walmart dont clearance much anymore and just send the stuff to a website like that..ill be pissed. I LOVE clearance time at those stores.
Not sure which is Sterling Heights...was at 16 and Dequinder Target earlier today and they didn't have any.
I doubt they’d waste the labor to ship stuff out of stores back to the warehouse to send it to that site. At most they’d be sending leftover stock from the warehouse only and the stores will continue to clearance out their stock as normal.
Hope the Primes are still there today...been trying to find one with a decently painted face; seems those are in short supply...
