Thanks. I had forgotten to think of A3U. They're still more expensive after shipping & tax than S-Z or TF-D. My cheapness usually overrules my impatience  

In my past orders from BBTS & TFSource, whatever their price tag is in USD, double it - that's the final Loonie value after shipping, duty, and brokerage fees. I've never tried ordering from ToyDojo or TCP to Canada, but I'd expect similar results.

I'm going to need to see this guy next to a Siege deluxe figure. I want this so much to be the frieza of my collection of Primes!

 

This seems like a good release, but with the condensed release schedule and several other 3P items that I want more dropping at the same time, I’ve cancelled my preorder. It just doesn’t reach that level of must-have.

 

Seems like the Big Bad Toy Store really can’t be beat when it comes to domestic shipping, so I guess I’m gunna go with them.

 

He'll be like this since he shares the mold with Megatron.

 

Chaos' re-designed feet makes me a head or two taller than Tyrant.

 

The Fallen is a solid bit bigger than Megs, so it might go really well with Siege Deluxes.

Megatron still gives an idea, so maybe a head shorter than the Brunts.

Got this fella in today. I didn't know he had bigger feet, so he's actually a little taller than Megs:



Its not the greatest of alt modes:


But the bot mode more than makes up for it:



It weirds me out that his weapons come with different shafts, making them mismatched (only one of the shafts lets you attach a weapon head to the pommel):



But I suppose its so you can connect that shafts together to form a double weapon:

I mean, its still neat you can re-arrange the pieces to form a club or a sword, but its annoying that one of the weapons will always end up having an extra piece left over.

 

Yea.. the point isn't to have two identical weapons, it's to have a sword + mace or combine into your own custom staff creation.

Well I threatened a while back that I planned to repaint it.

Not done yet, but done for the day. Have a lot more work to do on the staff. And a few touch ups on the bot. But I think he looks more like he's on fire and less that he has translucent parts now.

I dig it! IFallen is looking more Dreamwave’s The Fallen without the pinches of purple, which give it a Power of the Primes’ Megatronus vibe to me.

It also took me a moment to spot him among the diaroma, even though he’s smack dab in the middle of the scene! xD

And, in the meantime, I noticed that TFSource pre-sold out of MS’ Sound Wall, so I placed an order for that and Raven from The Chosen Prime.

Now, I didn’t intend to spend quite so much nor receive them so quickly. But, I was planning to display them together, at least initially, as a couple of shadow ‘formers, so that’ll be happening all the sooner.  

 

Okay now he really looks like he's on fire.

Sorry for the dump question, but who is this guy suppose to be? Is he a version of Megatron?

I've never been a big fiction guy outside of the original GI Joe Marvel run, Sunbow Joe and TF toons, and the OT Star Wars movies. Anything other than those and it's outside of my wheelhouse.

I am, however, an action figure/toy guy and this looks like a good one.

 

He's the Fallen, one of the original 13 Transformers. His history is a bit much, and varies between continuities, so its prolly just easiest to point to the TF wiki article:

(sometimes his true name is Megatronus, with Megatron having named himself after him)

But yeah, I only got the figure because he looks cool, rather than any connection to the character.
