There had better be a new Mach Kick coming soon so they can repaint him as an MLP. Hell, the original even had a mane/tail made of "hair" like they did.
First issue on July 22nd, second on August 12th. The last two are unscheduled, but are in all likelihood going to be September & October. If it weren’t for the pandemic, this whole thing would’ve been out already.
Yes! More MLP crossover content! Hype power is rising!... Levels growing!... Hyple levels becoming... MAXIMUMER!!! Everything about this image just gets me so excited for this mini series! The princesses together, Megatron's looming face above the advancing ponies and autobots, and Queen Chrysalis is going to be involved! That last point alone has a lot of implications, depending on where in the MLP timeline this will take place. And while I would love to divolge my thoughts on her involvement, this is a TF forum first and foremost, and I realize that many might not be interested in my pony based speculations.
I am quite curious as to where this lies in terms of continuity for FiM. In all likelihood this an AU. I’m looking forward to this crossover all the more since I actually started watching the show!
And if we are being more specific, before or after the end of season 6, depending on the status of the Changlings.
Welcome to the fold my friend! I'm glad to hear that you've been bale to enjoy such a specacular series. Especially when most outside of the loop now a days tend to look at it, and turn away, due to one of a few different reasons, most of which I disagree with. Its always a delight to see new people giving this show a try. The way I see it, this could go one of three ways. Depending on if this happens before or after the changeling reformation. Option 1: Megatron and a small batch of decepticons are flung through time and space into a strange equine populated land. Being short on men, he finds a strange creature with similar ambitions to his own, as well as an army behind her that could make up for his own lack of numbers. Under the banner of a united goal, Megatron and Crysalis work together to take over Equestria. Option 2: This is a sort of reverse of the last idea. This time, Chrysalis is the one in need of numbers. Having been exiled from her own hive. When she encounters a group of massive mechanical strangers set on taking over this land, she is able to appeal to them. Both through a shared ambition for control, as well as the ability to act as a guide into this strange magical world. Option 3: Megatron is as Megatron does, refuses any assistance from a seemingly inferioir creature. Now suddenly the lesser of two evils, Queen Chrysalis is faced with competition. If this alien threat is sucessful, she will have nothing left to fight for. So reluctantly she must side herself with the other ponies, who have also allied with the autobots. Working with them so that she may have a chance at conquest later down the road. However this is probably the least likely option. Seeing how she's facing the same direction as Megatron in the artwork, to the left, opposed to all the autobots and the equine protagnonists, who are all facing to the right. Not to mention that Chrysalis seems to be in direct conflict with Optimus Prime.
