Transformation looks good, but I;m not sure about it locking into foot mode. That foot/leg is gonna have a LOT of weight to carry.

Totally! I love the videos from that channel and it's a very satisfying transformation video to watch. Like I said this one looks way less fiddly than Split and was very fun to watch.

Only if they improve... like a LOT... otherwise, it is better if we forget about them, too many promises and one flawed figure.

That looks really good, much better then the pictures. Might actually pick this up as a standalone Long Haul.

He should be fine if he’s on all fours but stability could be an issue for standing on just the two legs

Wait, isn't he too small? He should be like taller the MPM Prime at the top of his head with much more bulk but this looks like about old voyager's height.

Then unfortunately this is an easy pass and end of the series for me.

I don’t think this figure is made to stand on its back legs. I think it’s made to be movie accurate, and the devastator in the movie didn’t seem bipedal.

Several of the promo images have had him on two legs, or with only one hand on the ground. I'm hoping the stability can live up to that.

There is no way any weight rest on the front hands. Those fingers don't look like they carry any weight. It is all on those skinny legs.

No way this guy doesnt come with a couple clear stands.

Will they respect the numerical order for the releases?

It also depends on what factory they use, if they own it.
I do think it’s interesting that there are at least two companies recently (can’t toys and devil savior) who took in a combined as their, “first try” . Combiners just seem hard to engineer, each figure has to be a triple changer, all of which have to be structurally sound.

I'm not sure why people were expecting these guys to be MP scale. As cool as it would be, I don't think we have the engineering to make the combiner work at that scale, not to mention the individual robots having difficult sizes to work with. Mixmaster is way smaller than Devy's head, so the face would either have to partsform or be integrated into Scavenger, further compromising his robot mode. Since Long Haul is quite a bit bigger than Rampage/Skipjack, they would need to make a Payload as well, which... actually, that'd be pretty cool.

Aside from the composition, people are already worrying about whether this guy will be able to support his own weight. Going by MPM Prime's height of 9.5 inches, that would put Devy in the ballpark of 34 inches, or just under 3 feet tall. I, for one, would like to neither pay for that much plastic nor finagle it so it doesn't crumble under its own weight, which, amusingly enough, is why Devastator is on all fours in the first place.

    P.S. Smash looks awesome

Well, they advertise this thing as MPM scale. I know the Perfect scale is not possible or practical especially in vehicle modes but at least they could try to follow it in Bot mode. Mixmaster works with MPM Prime and Ironhide ( and possibly Ratchet) . Is it too much to want the giant earthmoving truck to turn into a bigger bot than a cement mixer?
