I am also behind, so here are Beachcomber (54), Cosmos (55), Warpath (58) as well as the 60th and most recent GCWO entry - Grimlock.

Tony Adams: so that's where they got the name! :lol

That Jurassic Park homage is clutch! Love it! :thumb

Just want to say I'm thoroughly enjoying these write-ups!

Not reissuing Grimlock might be the biggest travesty ever; if making any mold would get their money back, you would think it would be Grimlock's.

Also, if anyone is interested in the origin of Cosmos' Japanese name Adams, it comes from this guy: George Adamski - Wikipedia

Thanks! Glad you’re enjoying them and thanks for reading. :)

Yeah, the Cosmos name stuff was just a joke on my part. I forget not everybody is as obsessed with English football as me!

With Grimlock he’s so iconic and such an enduring part of the franchise that it’s surprising to see they’ve never either rescued or rebuilt the mold. It’s a glaring loss. :(

I knew it was a joke, but I had just listened to a podcast talking about Adamski, so I just had to share that useless trivia with someone else ha ha.

I know people talk about rebuilding the molds for characters like Wheeljack & Sunstreaker (heck I want them to reissue absolutely everyone), but Grimlock seems absolutely worth every penny they would spend on a new mold. Robot dinosaurs never go out of style!

Mixmaster was my first Constructicon way back in 1985 for my birthday. I played the hell out of that toy. Too bad it took my brother and I until the G2 mold to finally have a complete set. I have the Encore version and my brother has a loose G1 complete and the original giftset. Easy to say Devastator is our favorite combiner. Plus we both have the Walmart version also.

I think when I first got my Devastator in 1998, Mixmaster was the one I gravitated to first as well. You guys have done well since childhood with Dev, obviously :D

Now, see, hulk set up false expectations for me with his Jurassic Park homage for Grimlock. I expected to see Slag lying on his side with Admiral Holdo looking on concernedly...

Never knew the difference between the two stickers. I'll have to check mine when I get home. :)  Hook was my second Contructicon. Bought him @ Kroger's. I knew to be careful when transforming his legs since I had a friend break his. So when one of my brothers friend came over one day, I hid Hook but my brothers friend, Michael Jackson ( yes that was his actual name) found it and broke it. I was so mad. Had to glue it back into place which worked fine but still... Always loved his voice in the cartoon. Talked real smooth.

Thanks so much for your support and kind words, mate, I'm honestly very happy it's still of interest to people after more than 2 months of daily posting!

    Michael Jackson broke your hook...

..and Hook was a smooth criminal.

    This stuff writes itself!

Unlike the GCWO, and speaking of which... It's been coming for ages, finally the Great Cybertronian Write Off brings you the Constructicon Warrior - Day 69: DEVASTATOR!

I keep thinking "Damn, Abominus is good" and "man, those Combaticons are fun" and "dude, how cool are these Stunticons with the stickers put on right!" and occasionally "bro, nothing beats Predaking".

    But really, Devastator is king.

    For a Decepticon.

    ;)
