I think he tried to get lucky hoping someone would goof and send him 6 or failing that he could badger the seller into giving him all 6 cause “hey the title says set of six. How am I suppose to know that seeing only a picture of one figure and paying only $10 means I only get one figure?”
So to all who have weighed in on my thread. I received an email from TF-direct this morning. They apologized for the confusion with the ad that I ordered from and explained what I would have needed to do to get all six. As I said before if I was wrong I would admit it. TF-direct did a great job in response to my deal. I got exactly what I paid for. And they gave me an explanation of what I should do going forward. As I also said I thought the price was a little too good. So my buyer beware is not to be negative toward TF-direct but to be sure that you totally understand how the ad works. I should have sent an email asking a couple of questions before buying. So the mistake is totally mine. I also know that when my son-in-law goes to get the other bots, TF-direct is where I’ll tell him to go. This has been a big learning experience for me in the TF world. Thanks to all for your assistance. Also, I was in no way trying to scam anyone! I was just expressing my concerns with folks I thought might be able to help me figure this out. Instead I was accused of being deceptive and trying to do wrong to TF-direct. I truly made a mistake in my ordering. Not understanding the site and what I should have done. And yes I was foolish enough to think that I was going to get all six for $19.99. Lol. I’m the goof! But I’m not a TF guy. It was for my son-in-law. So thanks for all your understanding of my confusion and frustration. And lastly, the bot I received from TF-direct was really a good deal.
Hey man, good on you for coming back with the story of how this all wrapped up. I’m glad to see no hard feelings once you got an explaination. For my part, my apologies for coming on too strong. As someone who uses sites like this and knows these toys like the back of his hand, it was very obvious what had gone wrong and that there was no fault from this retailer. Have you sent them an email? They probably won't get back to you this week, due to the New Year, but will most likely be responding sometime next week. Received my order from them of X-Transbots Boost last week and my Dubhe and KO MP Sunstreaker is in Los Angeles. Never had any issues getting a package from them.
I sent them an email and they did respond saying they had lost tracking of the product at a border and they had no idea when or if i would get my package, its been a couple of weeks since this email though, a couple of days ago i emailed them and asked for a refund, they said get the money back from paypal but only the deposit was made by paypal and the rest was payed by some other link they sent on their website meaning i would only get about 7-8 pound back.
Well....Tell them that too. I doubt they will hold it up. If they do, you can ask your credit card issuer/bank to intervene me thinks. Or tell them to send you another one.
The only thing TF-Direct has ever done that felt fishy to me was when I bought the OS Black Mamba Pink PotP Slash, I got an email from them asking if I wanted to buy the whole set of 6. Not appreciating the random up sale attempt, I double down and told them I was only interested in the one but if that was going to be a problem they're more than welcome to cancel my order. They of course did not and I received the item about 10 days later when seems to be the average turn around time order which seems really good for China. I have yet to not receive an item purchased from TF-Direct and I believe I've bought 4 items from them so far in the past year. Some of the items have had QC issues but I attribute that more on toy makers and the fact that most of the items have been KOs. Last item I received was the War Eagle KO of POTP Predaking Dive Bomb and I'm currently waiting on Black Mamba's OS SS-18 Bubblebee.
Im losing my patience with these guys. Its like the Chinese are punishing us in this trade war bullshit or they have no honest bone in their body. BBTS...after spending close over 10k on products with them in the many years how fucking hard when I asked, no begged to stop shipping shit with BBTS plastered all over the box where those cocksucking customs agents tag another 40% tax on it. Plain boxes dont get hit all the time. So they have a lost all my business. I know 10k is just a drop in the bucket for them. But I guess the loss in dollars is still someones wage in the warehouse. UGH I dont know what to do. Cancel get a refund and wait a week or 2 to get my money from PAYPAL and order from SHOWZ and hope it doesnt sell out......
They sent my latest order with no issues. All but one piece shipped within 2 days of when I ordered (3 weeks ago); the other item was on back order and just came back in stock. It shipped out to me as of two days ago. That makes 14 orders over the last 2 years with no serious issues. Only problems that I have had concerned damage during shipping, and they sent me replacement parts quickly.
THIS IS MY LAST PURCHASE FROM TF DIRECT!!!! I'm furious!!! NEVER again!! I received an OS Bumblebee with a windshield that is split in 2. They send me broken junk for $45.00. I'm forced to open a Pay Pal claim, and the decision is I have to pay $35.00 to ship a $45.00 figure back to China!! I don't want a broken figure at all!! It was their last one in stock, and broken!! The windshield was rattling around in the box, and they shipped it anyway! Sorry to vent here, but nobody else seems to care. I'm just starting to collect these things and stuff like this makes me wonder why I bother in the first place. I've been scammed by eBay sellers who give you fake tracking numbers, so I go with an actual company and get broken junk anyway.

It can take weeks to ship from China, depending upon time of year, pollution in air, number of enraged tibetian yaks blocking roads, etc.
Banking on shipping from china being very slow because of the pandemic. Ordered that KO MP Beast wars megatron from TF-Direct in late april and paid for shipping to have go out that week. I believe it was actually shipped around may 8, as that's when I got the tracking. I'll get it eventually, and there was no way I was paying close to $350 for the official one.
jesus, these guys are just as bad. Lying is a natural to them i suppose. Purchased the CANG-TOYS CT-CHIYOU-03 FIRMAMENT, they got it and asked me for extra shipping. I said hold it till i get some extra funds and they said ok, i email them yesterday asking for confirmation of extra shipping amount they send me this "sorry about that, it is still in pre-order status and supposed to release in the mid of June. Thanks." But back in march they send me this "Wed, Mar 10, 12:41 AM to me Hi, Due to the expensive shipping fee, your order is pending, you can get more info via Shipping Notice,Current Shipping Issue Notice The figure is nearly 3KG. Either pay ridiculous prices and customs or get screwed over by poor communications and down right lying. Im 70-30 at this point about just selling the entire collection except the Bandai SOCs/Gundams and Hot toys. Would make for a much nice collection.
