Definitely a metallic green. The yellow lettering and reflective stripes on the door are a good reference. I believe that @erwinsims talked to the guy that painted the actual film vehicles. He could give you a better idea of the color.

Turned out ok. I just hope he doesn't suffer from the truck MPM curse.

I am very excited for the final 2007 Autobot. The MPs are so frequently mistransformed in photos so I am not too worried about the shoulders just yet. The only concern I have is the color. Since they got Bumblebee's yellow wrong, I hope Ratchet's coloration does not draw attention to Bumblebee in a negative way. Still, that's really a minor nitpicky concern.

I'm almost finished, in the meantime...
Having analyzed the transformation in the stop motion video, i love the fact that this guy has almost no faux parts, even the doors end at the right spot, and i love the fact that they're finally collapsing most of the sides of the vehicle in one single panel.

Not gonna lie, i thought they were the real vehicles.

I have to agree here.. they would be throwing away money if they did not use the mold for the DOTM repaint.. heck even a AOE repaint (weathered and dirty DOTM version) would sell like hot cakes.

Legit for real, if Hasbro DID release MPM Ratchet in DOTM colors I’d finally have found the definitive Ratchet figure for my collection!

I bought Jazz and Megatron from TCP today for $200 after coupons and overpaying a creditcard statement, and won an auction for Barricade for $50 shipped. I now have every mpm (besides bee movie). Ratchet is going to be magical to open up. Is starscream September, and Ratchet October?

So why exactly are some retailers adding on $80 for Ratchet? Target has their pre order for $120 where as ChosenPrime and I’m assuming the rest have him for $200. That’s a pretty big difference.

You should see the price differences of the Netflix Walmart Siege exclusives. $90 for Siege Megs and some Targetmasters, lmao. My guess is they also have to order from Target. That would explain the prices for other exclusives and the sudden "sold out" that happens every time these things open up online.

I'm going to press my luck and hunt for Ratchet in-person, then give up a month later and try to find it online.

As much as I love TCP... I’m not paying $80 extra for this. Preorder placed with target. Hopefully it works out well. 88E5B370-3C8B-49DE-80E9-D6FA118F9A07.jpeg
