Thanks, good to know! If you have an extra you don’t mind selling, I’d definitely be interested in checking it out. If the figure is decent enough, I might be good with it as a display piece instead of forking out 5 times more for the MB.
@ziltama recommended duct tape or electrical tape around the ball joints to me when I asked a while back. If you got any lying around, it's worth trying.
I remember using electric tape for ball joints back in the day and I remember it being somewhat successful. It would try to make it's way out of the socket lol.
My Lancelot was on the opposite spectrum as Rex as far as tolerances go, way too tight in some parts like the feet and wrists. Combined with the loose wrist guards it's not a particularly fun figure to handle, I don't find myself wanting to mess with it. My regular RD are way more fun to pose. Still a decent figure all in all, but it already shows some symptoms. Nice pics btw.
Agreed, the current ANIME RDs are much more fun than the metal RDs. I wish for lupus rex they just made it a metal build with beefier joints.
I have the full cloth and It is a really nice figure and it has Tons of accessories like the crossbow gun thing and the beam saber with the effect parts. The diffrent configurations with the Cape is cool and you have these great blue effect parts for the barrier. I nearly picked up the x2 but it seemed lacking in weapons so I gave it a miss. I would love to see a picture of all of them with all the diffrent weapon configurations.
Thanks for the feedback. It sounds good to me as long as the figure isn’t a complete POS, which it doesn’t seem to be, it should be just what I want. I’m not trying to collect MB even though I usually prefer getting the highest quality figure for whatever character I can but I have no attachment to this series other than just wanting a Pirate Gundam. It will take up less space too, which is another plus.
If you ever decide you want the MB crossbone, I might be willing to part with mine for a decent price.
