Not perfect but, not terrible. I will be switching out the head. Sorry, for those who are against that. Would've been supercool to get the Bat HUD. "Oracle... Recently got an acrylic case to display my Cromalin for Super Power’s Batman. Cromalins were what Kenner employees used during the manufacturing process to proof read the packaging for mistakes. This one is just the back of the packaging for a 12 back style cardback for Batman.
Does the Wave 1 Batman's head fit on it? I like my Batmen with long ears, but that's pushing it. The promo shots on Amazon looks like it could use a shot of dull coat, too.
If we're talking artists, I think Greg Capullo still draws my favorite Bats. Really leans into the flat blacks like Bruce Timm, but not as stylized. My favorite physically realized Batsuit is the one from the beginning of Arkham Knight. Not as rubbery looking as the Asylum suit and not "Iron Man but grey" like the Knight suit itself. The Knight suit's cowl is awesome though, with the different layers of material. None of the live action suits have really wowed be yet. If the Dark Knight suit had even a single shade of grey in it it would have been pretty good. The only DCEU suit that grabbed me was the JL armored suit, specifically in the super bright toy colors.
The 2 Targets I went too wouldn't allow me to buy because of street date. And both stores only had 1 so somebody had to buy the others. But I did get the Neal Adam's looking Bats. The DC Essentials is better. I went to 2 Targets and they both would not allow me to buy before street date, both stores only had 1 so somebody brought the others. I did get the reprint. The DC Essentials Neal Adam's look better.
Found the Spin Master Killer Moth. Had to get it as I love the character. They’re hardly collector toys, but the few characters I picked up are fun.
Also, I saw Arkham Batman at walmart, the head is just too repugnant. Also, I threw Superman in my POL and bought Essentials batman, best I've been able to find. Now I hope I can get a Classic Wonderwoman from Mcfarlane.
I was able to get Joker a month ago at Walmart but 2 Targets wouldn't let me get Arkham Bats. And there was 1 Bats and no Jokers so somebody had to buy them.
I ordered Superman on Amazon for 15.99 just in time, they are completely sold out right now! Lucky me. I'm closer to get all Mcfarlane DC collection.
