I don't know, but there's one Deluxe Earthrise wave left unrevealed, and if Bumblebee isn't in it, then he isn't an Earthrise toy.

I don't know how Hasbro can make a toy that looks sort of like a Beetle but not really. They've got a strong relationship with Volkswagen and they're opening up Studio Series to characters in the '86 Movie. This seems open-and-shut to me.

Aren't there a number of characters in the Earthrise art who aren't in the line, though?

 

they made a movie with a Volkswagen Beetle and the following year Volkswagen discontinued the beetle. Just because the made it for one thing doesn’t mean they can do it for many. He’s certainly isn’t anything like it in cyberverse and nobody knows anything really with what’s going on with 86 studio series. Most of the characters from the movie weren’t real cars. All future cars.

for all we know bumblebee will turn into something not unlike his alt mode from Titans return which in reality be what he does turn into maybe


And yes there are a couple in art but not features in way like bumblebee who’s in front of Optimus

 

I think that the reason that cliff jumper won't be bumblebee and why Warden said that he wouldn't be a cliff jumper retool/repaint is because he may actually get the licensed beetle. I think that's the whole reason that we have a new studio series line they're going to try to go 100% with their alternate modes. So he may skip the ER release get the Netflix release and get the studio series release I think that's possible

 

then why aren’t they using the other licensed vehicles they have access to? Smokescreen, Sunstreaker, Optimus, wheeljack are all licensed they technically have due to their respective MP counterparts or use in a movie but their CHUG versions are all hybrids to avoid trademarks

 

Netflix exclusives are the same price as the standard releases. Deluxes are $20 voyagers are $40 but come with two $5 battlemasters and Magnus is $60 but comes with rung and energon cubes

 

they can take a dip if that’s the case coz they already have. The current wave of Netflix already an huge amount of paint. Not just in weathering but in detail and he’s the same price not to mention Walmart also it’s a lot to have an exclusive line which can either be a profit or go to the budget of the figures more than likely the profit

 

Haha no, I guess I’m just not really into the coloring/character. I know it’s accurate, I would’ve preferred maybe some stripes or a bit of weathering or something

 

Everyone on the Earthrise box is in Cybertronian forms with scan lines suggesting a reformat. Hasbro has consistently pushed in the card game and across media that T30 Trailbreaker is G1 Trailbreaker's Cybertronian mode in WFC.

Also, the Netflix cartoon used actual 3D models of finished toys as their starting point down to 5mm peg holes and blast effect pegs.

 

Bee is gonna be a good figure though...these leaks so far....I think right now...right now we're in a good peak (at the moment) and I think we calm down on going "OH MY GAWD ANOTHER leak". Cause we could get a crap figure....Not saying the leaks we've gotten are bad oh no no no. We just need to have a hype cool down.

 

No reason he can't be a prepaint.

Netflix version can be metallic/pearl or have battle damage while the later ER or SS version is clean.

 

Bit of a tangent here on the Netflix stuff (sorry for goin off-topic) here...but wouldn't it be interesting to see pre-G1 (technically it double as Shattered Glass too) repaints of some of the Autobots and Decepticons?

Cause I bet ya we're gonna get an ER Barricade in the final wave (at best) in the Netflix line. Like right now with the leaks (at the moment like I said prior we're at a GOOD peak) Heck us seeing these really interesting repaints can show potential into making them as either A: Genericacons or Shattered Glass variants.

EX: Siege Netflix Ironhide but he's in the Diaclone colors.

 

Just like Cliffjumper his arms share his body colors which is not accurate. Its disappointing because that's part of what helps set him apart from Bumblebee.

 

I love how they covered his feet which would be the main give away as to his alt mode.

Also Wheeljack was all over the siege artwork but didnt show up till ER so not a total given.

 

That\'s s a first, that Cliffjumper is redecoed into him, not Bee. Loving it. Hope we can get some other obscure G1 minibot repaints out of him too. Would not mind a G2 repaint of Hubcap!

 

They use the CAD designs for the upcoming WFC cartoon..
In those clips Bee doesn't have the backpack and the arms are different.
It won't be a repaint of Cliff.
Also, as stated before... we've already been told it's not the same mold.

 

I want warpath powerglide cosmos brawn windcharger before this WFC ends then the throttle bots lol as I don’t mind paying 20 bucks for great legend figures just make them look like the G1 toon I’ll die a happy man lol

 

YEAHHHHH HUBCAP!!! He was my G1 Bumblebee placeholder till I became a collector. I actually still have my childhood original.

 

I'm hoping we eventually get a Goldbug too

 

Wow! They'll be remolding/retooling Optimus Prime as Bumblebee! AWESOME!

 

Definitely glad to see Hubcap is coming. That is another obscure character update I can cross off the list. I know they are similar except for the head, but I would not be opposed to this Select release being a 2-pack with Hubcap and a Bumper.
