I got mine out the other day and realized it was really stiff. I opened it up and applied silicone shock oil and it moves a lot better but the ratchet still seems to have a lot of pressure from the spring. I may clip a small amount of spring off mine.

Considering that so few people bought the Glacialbots, this is the least likely subline to be resurrected even if FP were to be return.

Now, updated, articulated Glacialbots and more custom Dinobots... yes, please.

I'm not a fan of the Glacialbots. I'm slowly picking them up for brand loyalty but haven't taken them out of the box.

Those were my first Fansproject bot. I preordered them all from TFsource. Followed not too far behind by Intimidator. I remember chasing the mailman down in the snow for Diesel. He was stuck at the end of my street and I walked down and got it from him.

I can open the two screws on the upper thigh. The spring inside looks a little too big.

On the crotch, one of the three screws is stripped and so I can only pry it open a little and dribble in some mineral oil. Seems to help.

Glacialord wasn't for me but I think it was one of the coolest things any 3rd party did. I admire a lot of what Fansproject tried. It's a shame they fell out of favor. Hopefully they'll one day comeback with a vengeance. More 3rd party offerings are always a good thing.

There were 2 versions of Severo, one with throne and one without. I have the DX version with throne, so I'm not sure if there were other differences but I'm guessing the box was also different?

I believe, the only difference is the throne and the extra minibot. i have the DX version as well. The box would have to be bigger to accommodate the throne.

I've had some lucky Ebay finds. Picked up X-0 for $23.00. Also picked up a lot with Assaulter, UUUU, Crox, Smart Robin, & Sigma L for $150. I picked up both the red and blue Cubrar's on here for $80 each from different sellers. They both showed up the same day.

MADLAW is kinda weak. The bot mode is cool and maybe 2 of his alts but you could tell they were really stretching to get to six alt modes. The wolf mode is the worst by far. I applaud their efforts though. One alt is a feat of engineering let alone six.

I love most of my FP stuff.

The Dinobots are fun and different. I like them enough that I have all 7 plus the 5 Diaclone reprints. Too bad they never did the repaints of the females. The one was Optimus-looking.

only thing I’m kinda ticked about is that they never finished the Headmasters in FX... I loved the unique designs.

One thing's for sure, no matter what happens going forward, they leave behind a legacy of awesomeness that I respect. Much the same way I look at and enjoy legacy figures like G1, Alternators, MP-01, etc...FP stuff will always give off cool vibes. Just my personal opinion, but wanted to share.

Sad, I would love to see more Scramble City combiners.

I would totally buy a Combiner Wars style combiner though.

PS - I am surprised that so many years on from being created, and NOT ONE third-party company has released a single Combiner Wars limb!

Maketoys have stated their CHUG line will continue, same scale and style. Just jump on that train and forgot FP.
