    I know it’s not a new argument. It’s just one that I think is:horse: . But thanks!

Now to keep it more on topic, got Scrapper in yesterday. And I love him. Pics coming soon. Can’t wait for Overload. Love the SS Constructicons!

They've got something much larger, more expensive, and higher quality coming.

Announcing MPM 23+ Bumblebee version 11.0, now with weathering and Blender-bot accessory/mini-figure.

Looking forward to Jolt and ROTF Bumblebee. I've wanted more minifigures in Studio Series since that Bumblebee and Charlie Watson set, I've never owned a Jokt, and I think it's clear how I feel about Bumblebee. Grindor is mostly intriguing because of Ravage, but I'm a little more hesitant on that. I literally just got HFTD Ravage because I didn't think a Studio Series one would happen, and I'm not sure how different Grindor would be from Blackout.

The 86 Movie figures are... I don't agree with the decision to include them in Studio Series, but I will wait and see how they look before casting my final judgment on them. If they look really good, I might actually get them. It depends. Hopefully the major remaining Bayverse characters can be done before Studio Series inevitable moves on the 2022 Transformers movie, whatever it might be.

Legs ate a tad loose but nothing major. Otherwise it's a great figure and I had a blast painting him up

The issue I have with 86 in SS is that it feels... unnecessary. It'd be like if they announced a new AOE Hound for WFC 3. Why put him there when there is a line for him?

Don't get me wrong, I'll buy SS 86 Grimlock. The issue isn't that it will exist, it is what line it is in.

Cool! Glad to see another Sideswipe! I wonder what improvements they will give him. Also i am down for some human figures, its about time. If they can give us brains and wheelie then they can give us the humans too!

Wow. So the only way to get SS Ravage is to purchase a repaint of leader Blackout? Lame.

Also not stoked that the ‘86 movie is getting merged with Studio Series. C’mon, I thought it was a line for characters specifically from the live action movies? We’re literally getting the purest distillation of G1 ever with Earthrise right now, it’s just gonna be more of the same.

Hopefully movie accurate feet and less translucent plastic.

Maybe they will repackage Earthrise with SS packaging lololol

Okay hear me out: what if the 86 movie is just a stylized version of Studio Series? Separate numbering and different packaging? So That way it's just called Studio Series 86. It looks like it will consist of Studio Series repaints (Leader Grimlock painted as G1 Grimlock with a wheelie minifigure) and of WFCER repaints that are more screen accurate (Deluxe Gnaw).

The thing that pisses me off is that it's even included in Studio Series. It should be a separate line and every WFC figure is already screen accurate.

Well, the Bayverse only has so much left to do, so they hopefully finish that out before moving on to other ground.

You mean G1 colored repaints of the Bayverse/Knightverse designs?

Here's my take on the whole thing: They can put as many G1 characters in Studio Series as they like, as long as we still get a leader class DOTM Devcon.

In the case of repainting the Studio Series, yes. So the Leader Class Grimlock will be a G1 colored Grimlock (which I'll love) instead of a new figure.

Y’know, if moving G1 into Studio Series potentially means Generations will start living up to its namesake and we start getting stuff from BW and even the UT, then I’m all for it. I just ask that Hasbro finish the Bay films before fully committing to G1 in this line.

Also, I wonder how different Grindor will be. Will he be a remold or a straight repaint? If he's just a repaint, DNA Designs will have to release an upgrade kit for him to match the one we're getting for Blackout.

And since we're getting more ROTF characters, I am expecting a Leader The Fallen!!

I really don't think Studio Series is going to be committed to G1 from now on. Like others said the movies are the second biggest cash cow to Hasbro like G1 so if anything the 86 movie is really only to celebrate it's 35th anniversary. That being said I still very much get the sentiment on how it's annoying that Hasbro's putting G1 characters in SS where the WFC line is already the perfect place to put them in. The fact that I even got flak for expressing that in other threads doesn't help..
