Yeah, it's... interesting to say the least. This one listing has caused a civil war between the fans (ok maybe an exaggeration).

Thing is, as I said, if the separate G1 line no longer exists and become apart of SS, then they would have the same amount of releases, just under the same line name.

I think WFC trilogy should at least make all characters that has made the appearance of 1986 movie such as Blaster, Hot Rod, Jazz, Kup, Brawn, and Constructicons.

G1 got less attention because of Transformers Prime, RID 2015, and rest of aligned continuity.

No worries man. It happens to all of us. Believe me I get what you're saying here overall. Especially the part where fans of series that aren't G1 and the movies aren't lucky to get the same love and attention as those two groups. Though in BW's case that could be changing. I also agree on how the Grimlock thread there has gotten to be a giant mess.

Don't be too sure. For the longest time, if it didn't have to do with the movies, retailers such as Walmart would request more movie toys. If confusion becomes an issue, they might skip a case thinking it's all SS when there's really WFC mixed in and vice versa. It's easier for everyone if they keep them separate. We don't need everything mixed in with everything.

    That's true.

Good point. I do think its better to have separate lines, just find it funny that as soon as a possibility of crossover happens, everyone gets super aggressive against G1. Bayverse was my G1 and I'm still fine with both TF looks.

We got super aggressive against them for the better part of a decade, so fair is fair.

The reason why the movie figures get more attention is simply because they make more money.

Sure, but the movies have made them so much money, there's enough resources for them to focus on both. Which, they are doing now, but it felt like forever.

And this is coming from someone who grew up with G1, shunned it, went full Bayverse, got burned by that jackalope of a director, came back to G1 and loves both toys, but only one storyline, now.

Anyone have any tips for how to use a Molotow liquid chrome marker? Picked up one today to detail some of my Studio Series figures, and was wondering if any of you guys have any advice for how to use it.

I've started using one fairly recently, the only bit of advice I have is to let it sit and dry for a long time after applying the chrome, making sure you don't touch it.

I actually need to read more on them because sometimes it's turned out great and other times it turns out kinda uneven and messy.

Have you noticed any scratching or chipping after it dries? That's one of my main concerns with using it.

It seem like SS will very likely release figures from 1986 movie. So I guess SS is all about big screen regardless of G1 or Live-action. The 1986 movie got a huge roster, it will help SS line last longer.

Haha I believe you! I've always wanted MPM Optimus, and MPM Ironhide has been looking good for the past two years. After hearing several positive reviews of LT02, I decided to buy him and then I found Ironhide a day later at half price! I had to buy him after seeing that wonderful discount. A day or two after I bought him, MPM Ratchet was revealed!

I think I'll open Scrapper before them both though because he's been sitting in the box for ages!

Yeah, I feel the same! It's good to hear a variety of opinions as long as those opinions don't start a war...which they usually do.

Thanks! I went ahead and did it on my "main" bee who's more painted up and has better QC and I'm happy with the results:

It's a very good time to be getting more heavily into MPMs, so these two can keep you busy until starscream and ratchet arrive! I'm quite happy for you.

After having the day to cool off and do some thinking, I don’t think SS fans have a lot to be worried about. This is either a listing mistake, or as you and numerous others have pointed out, it could be a G1 repaint of the original leader figure.

If it turns out that HasTak plans on including TFTM characters in the Studio Series line, I won’t overreact and lose my shit, but I’ll be really disappointed. Studio Series is doing well on its own so I see no reason to incorporate G1.
