I've had at least one meteor shower where I couldn't find Celeste on my island. Not sure if she really wasn't there or if I just missed her.

 

That’s the first I’ve heard of that. There was definitely no meteor shower on May 20th in my game. I was up playing from about 9 to 12:30AM that night.

Does Gracie ever re-stock in New Leaf or once you buy her out that's it?

 

She restocks daily like any other store. However her lines are season based. So she'll have her Gracie Series available to purchase with seasonal clothing from tomorrow until August 31st.

But when it gets near the end of the season, those items can sell out near the season's ending.

 

My boy Genji sent me a painting for the museum. Which is awesome because 1) I didn't know that was a thing that could happen and 2) Redd stops by so infrequently and 3) it wasn't a fake.

 

Was walking around my island today and to my surprise had a 5 star flower growing! Checked town hall and out of nowhere now have a 5 star island! Got the golden water can that still breaks!

 

Anyone know how it works exactly with getting replacement villagers? I had someone move out Friday and was excited to be able to use NMT to shop around but then today the plot was already marked sold.

 

Ya, after a day or two, someone will randomly buy it.

 

Essentially it's a race between you finding someone and Nook selling that plot. It seems that the game will try to replace like with like. I had a lazy male type move out only to be replaced with a lazy male type then I had normal female type move out and then a normal female type showed up at the campground. With the mystery island tour it's a crap shoot.

 

Although you do have a higher chance of finding a personality type you don't have on NMTs too. Was like that for Smug and Snooty villagers for me.

 

Today I caught an arapalma, two arowenas, two dorados, three tilapias, a suckerfish, and two great whites. Also CJ is on my island.

 

Ok thanks. In this case the new villager is a different type and gender. Male jock moved out. Female peppy in.

 

Works the same if you're low or missing a type of villager as well.

 

OK that makes sense. I have another Jock but I don't think I have a Peppy.

 

So the Wedding Event is in full swing, basically Reese and Cyrus show up on Harv's Island for some fun photo shoots. Each day you can visit and take some photo shoots in June. I am seriously thinking this is interesting and all, but kind of wish they could move to my island after the event is over, because I miss the cute Alpacas.

 

So my soon-to-be 6 year old has a house on my island and I bought her a decent amount of turnips Sunday. Then yesterday she sold them first chance she got for like 2/3 original price  . Guess I didn't explain it to her well!

 

That moment when you're missing just ONE fossil. Its been like that for weeks. Curse you Tricera torso!!!!

Also, does anybody have any oranges and cherries?

Finally upgraded my house again yesterday (upstairs), got it looking like I wanted it to on the outside, now gonna remodel the interior to work more until I get a basement.

Takes longer cause out of the two of us, I'm the main money maker for the town. So I've been spending money moving villager houses, donations, purchasing the expensive items for my Gf and sending her money to help her pay off her loans.

 

Oranges are my town fruit and cherries i got from my villagers mom so have both. Sorry to say i don't have nintendos paid online. Never tried but don't think i can go to another island without it. (or can i?)
