Maybe I’m over exaggerating here, but I truly believe Hasbro has this idea that if they don’t shove G1 into everything, then people will forget it exists.

 

I have to say a g1 inspired Repaint of SS Grimlock would be amazing and id buy it instantly.

It also opens the door for a concept ive been kicking around ever since SS started that ive considered customizing myself since it was unlikely ( until now potentially ) of G1 SS repaints.

SS G1 Ironhide
SS G1 Starscream
SS G1 Sideswipe

Other possibilities could be

SS G1 Bonecrusher ( on the fence on that one )
SS G1 Barricade
SS G1 Dotm Soundwave ( you could also include a Black and Red Laserbeak )
SS G1 Optimus ( BB Optimus Better paint and a Trailer )

As I said in the main news thread, the irony here isn’t lost on me. Folks are apparently more open to Studio Series consisting of more than one generation than they are with Generations doing that very same thing.

Heaven forbid we Bayformer fans get enjoy what is possibly the last time we will see these characters in toy form without having G1 shoved down our throats and our bodies trampled on by rabid Geewunners.

Megatron is also 35' bur in the first trilogy. Galvatron and TLK Megs are 30' tall.

at 40 even I like to play with them as still, altrough I enjoy painting and modding them more.
