That shuttle mode is tempting

 

I bought one pack early on, mostly because it was the only new thing out at the time. I didn’t buy anymore.

I just don’t get the appeal of the little guys.

 

from what I’ve gleaned in my time here, it seems the appeal comes from them being characters that haven’t been released since they were originally released.

But I totally hear what your saying and agree.

I bought the hot rod patrol. Wouldn’t recommend them at all to anyone though really

Just saying that a parent/ grandparent with a kid crying "I want a toy!" Would like price point options, so they don't need to drop $20 on a transformer toy, regardless of how 'filled' the packaging looks

 

I was very happy when I got the Siege rescue patrol (as it took me back) but that quickly wore off. I went and got the originals and for this specific team I can say that they're more efficient in design and simply feel better. I would have switched back to vintage were it not for the fact that Hastak does seem to have improved in the later waves of Siege (though I'd still rather they'd just lose the articulation in favor of more solid bots).

 

I wish CJ was animation colors.

 

It doesn't really matter when those are decades old and many of us (including new kids the toyline is aimed at) never had them.

Also, good luck tracking down G1 Micromasters for the price of their retail equivalents.

Yeah, it's definitely not Hasbro's job to make the characters look like the characters.

 

It's supposed to look like what they designed it to be, and it's not G1 Cartoon.

 

Let's not pretend the last two lines haven't been specifically and slavishly leaning towards the cartoon for a large part.

Using the excuse of "it was designed that way" when there's nothing to gain by designing something's color layout to be inaccurate is bad. Omitting an entire main color from a character is a poor decision.

 

C'mon Sky-Lynx, get here quicker.

 

You can be patient and wait for a possible anime olor set or upgarde the windshields with reprolables.

Heck, CJ is almost anime accurate already.

 

I agree 99.99%. Same can be said on Optimus Prime. Like the art of him has his roof lights extremely emphasized yet the toy omits them. Its like what the EF? But then again, HB is like maximizing their bottom line by cutting some corners to fit the Leader class SRP. I don't like it but ever since the brand unification with Takara..........

Well i guess leaked would be the right term more like rumored but I was referring to the elite-1, bumblebee, deep cover and afew others

 

So, it looks like the Sleep Mode Optimus Prime is legit. Aside from the new recolour, we also get a new battle-damaged head.

Makes me wonder if this is a potential spoiler for the Netflix series...
