True Origins....

 

Seige was an awesome line in my opinion, I've already got most of what I wanted but the last seige figure I really want is Omega Supreme, Sadly hes expensive and hard to find so I hope I can find me a good deal on him eventually.

 

First time posting in here I believe, just wanted to show off how much I appreciate the articulation of the siege seeker mold. ER Seekers have the aesthetic I desire, just wish there was a blending of the two for the perfect figure.

Hope you manage to find him for a decent price. He's an fantastic figure.

The figures I want most from Siege are Nemesis Prime, Hotlink, and Scrapface. I really hope the latter two go up on the Walmart website, because who knows when I'll be able to go to a store again. Not sure what the chances of that happening are though.

 

Crazy how distribution works, I only ever saw Siege Chromia a handful of times last year throughout all of Central FL stores I went to which was quite a lot. I never bought into that mold until the Netflix version arrived and now I kinda want the Nightbird character. Side note, I am really glad that Arcee is her own mold.

 

You can get him on pre-order at BBTS. Don't know if you consider MSRP a "good" price, but it beats scalper prices.

Speaking of...

I finally caved. My patience did not pay off. Could have had this figure two months ago for 60% of this price, and 8 months ago for about a third. Good chance it will go down when the Target exclusive Earthrise figure hits and people sell theirs off. But I have the money at the moment, and I was weak.

I have been well and truly scalped.

 

Ugh.

 

I'm keeping selloffs in mind, but I still feel like people will still try to put a premium even on loose examples. They sure as well are trying with Hotlink already.

And while I'm thinking about it, BOOooooo on Hasbro making Skywarp an exclusive twice in a row.

 

Hey i saw your GMK Review! off topic but can you send me a picture of how he looks in detail? I'm trying to get a good look at what his skin looks like. Because the OG GMK had a weird green wash.

 

I believe they have good reason to do the other seekers as exclusives. They shelf warm when they aren't.

 

I get it. He's not Starscream, and I understand even Thundercracker has elevated his profile in recent years. Cons are already flush with black and purple decos, too.
Still, he's my favorite non-Soundwave-related Decepticon, and the last figure I needed to complete my Siege collection (that is the figures I wanted, not every figure).

Hearing how much she shelfwarms over there really bugs me as to my knowledge she never even got general retail over here in the UK. I got mine from Amazon US!

Does it happen a lot in HK?

 

Skywarp was in normal retail but sold out relatively quickly (approx 2 months?) siege Sideswipe 2 pack is still rotting in shelves due to Slamdance’s QC issue and Redwing is piling up in every store because nobody knows them. On the other hand, Ratchet sold out in less than a month because it was a TRU exclusive. Overall it just depends on how good the mold is and how well known a character is.

 

Wow that's great you got the seeker 2 pack already. Shame to hear that the redwing is shelf warming because he really is a great deco for that mold and my 2nd favorite behind hotlink. I've still to this day not transformed my slamdance for fear of it breaking.
