So I picked up DC Multiverse Superman yesterday. Overall a solid figure. One slight nitpick: loose ankles Only other comment which I've heard others voice would be for a proper thigh cut. The only proponent is that it would break up the sculpt. To that I say so does the toe articulation.
I don’t know where the comment went, but he’s about 7.35 inches from the boots to the top of his head. Up to the horns is about 7.9 inches.
This has now turned into a real line... And I want it all and everything they make in the future for it.
Necron looks like crap. When I used to play (3rd & some 4the edition), I made a near GT winning Necron army. If I find the case, will post some pics of my army. The Space Marine looks okay, will be waiting to see what the Blood Angel, Black Templar, and Dark Angel versions look.
Warhammer stuff is up for preorder on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/McFarlane-To...keywords=mcfarlane+toys&qid=1590785627&sr=8-2 $20 a piece isn’t bad at all, depending on QC of course.
Has the quality of recent McFarlane releases improved over the old releases? Are they still fragile in the hips?
I’ve only bought a few releases, as most lines don’t interest me, but that seems like it’ll change with all these game lines. For example, I just got the MK11 Johnny Cage, and he’s great! Can almost do a full split!
I'd love to see Mcfarlane do Gremlins and Critters action figures especially the bounty hunters (rock singer and playboy model), now that would be something different.
I really hate how badly they’ve handled the DOOM series. The Slayer was so embarrassingly bad, and the Marauder doesn’t look that much better.
The Marauder is a fun figure tbh, but yeah the Doom Slayer was a disappointment. Honestly, if they choose to make the alternate skins like classic, sentinel, or 2016, they’d have to make a new mold which could be more articulated than the original offer.
I walk past the Doom Slayer at my local Walgreens every time I go there...then I wish he were better...then I keep walking...lol...
finally found Hellbat for retail ($20), on a site i rarely visit or use.....Amazon, also since $25 and up had free shipping, i grabbed 2x $15 McF Fortnite figs (Omega & Vendetta) that i'm going to turn into Cyber Noob Saibot. I love his Fortnite series they make great customs, and i can give their weapons to Spawn, no downside lol When you dont pay attention while ordering and end up with only 2 Mcfarlane figs, guess this Omega will go over to the Ninja Joe shelf screw it
Grim knight and Devastator I’m interested in, everyone else looks kinda meh. The murder machine is underwhelming with his bland accessory.
Lol, you gotta be kidding me! This has got to be one of the most boring lines in the history of boring lines of DC figures. I might take a Dawnbreaker just because Green Lantern and it could fit in a collection of fucked up looking Batmen. Other than that, Devastator could work as a good Doomsday. Lol about Mcfarlane DC figures though.
Hmmm, I don't know about that wave. It's lacking a main hook to me. You know what would really tie it all together? A Batman. In non-Batman related news, I managed to snag a Spawn a little while ago when Gamestop had it in stock. No idea when it'll get here (the tracking is all weird atm), but I'm looking forward to checking him out. I was never super into Spawn so I have no interest in the Kickstarter stuff, so the MK one will do just fine.
