Spotted Soundbarrier(s) back in on Amazon US but balked when the Pandemic Postage Rate & Provisional Import Poking brought the whole kaboodle to £45+!
Wrecked the spread the load between the items working out entirely.
And the rate still wasn't an appealing bargain once I took out the cheeky Race & Sports Car Patrols I popped in too (I keep thinking a parts-swap between Roadhandler & Hyperdrive might be a way to sort a cheeky Tailspin. Then bodge a Free Wheeler from Blackjack's core bod/head & the rest of Swindler's bod with some repainting even if the car modes are wrong)!

Then I remembered a mate and fellow Hammer Horror fan had recently picked up 'Dracula A.D.1972' and 'Taste the Blood Of...', and wondered if he'd got 'em on offer 'cause he's a limited budget bargain hunter, bless 'im.
Turns out he may have nabbed a cheapy Region Free International Bluray BUT barely hangin' on HMV had both the apparent "UK Exclusive" '72 AND it's 70's sister fillum 'Satanic Rites Of...' (where Jessica Van Helsing swaps heads from Stephanie Beacham to Joanna Lumley between) blurays on a 2 for £25 with Free Delivery.
I'll take a cult purchase of the Final curtain for Lee/Cushing Draculas for twenty squids less than the aborted TF impulse-buy thank you very much!

And then the item you decide to keep sells at the full price before you take the listing down...

    *Sigh*

I do see the comical side though.

    Sweeeeet!
Just ordered my first Earthrise figure off Ebay - Hoist incoming!

Randomly clicked into the Ebay app on my phone and was greeted with a £10 off a £20 purchase. Yesterday I received a £10 refund back in my PayPal for a duff Amazon Fire Stick remote so this was a no brainer! :p

Something to look forward to next week eh! ;)

So I received my retro Real Ghostbusters toys from Kapow & I love them but I’m admitting my total ignorance here, have they been up scaled? The cards seem ridiculously huge & I don’t remember ever seeing the original toys on shelves.

The Super7 MOTU figures are adorably naff too.

Bloody hell this thread moved fast, loving the Sky Lynx pictures, but I'm holding on to the CW version. This is for the same reason I passed on Jetfire, not enough space on the shelves. However, if I do see Cmdr Modesty reduced further on down the line I might not be able to resist, though Omega Supreme is first on that list.

I've had a pretty down week until yesterday. Like a good chuck of the working population I was furloughed, but a couple of weeks ago I was asked to go back, which I did. On the third day back the boss mentioned that they wasn't fetching staff back off furlough if they had partners in the NHS or working at care homes, not great to start off with. Now bear in mind I was pretty sure they knew my wife was a care worker (she was lucky after being laid off just before lock down and managed to get a new job virtually straight away), so I remind them of this (I was being honest and thought they'd made an exception, since I was an office worker and the others worked on the factory floor). Nope, they asked me to go back on furlough to the end of May and then I could come back. Fast forward to last Thursday and I get a letter through saying that I was being made redundant. I felt like absolute shite, especially as it took me over a year last time I was made redundant to find a new job. Thankfully, I have managed to secure myself temporary work, but that was a real gut punch especially after I'd left a perfectly good job to work for this company (it was closer to home and less hours for comparable pay). Probably breaking some NDA for typing all that out, but it makes me feel better.

@MissingSea All the sympathy, mate, hope you got a decent exit cushion, and whether you did or not maybe look to taking some advice? That sounds rather employment law flouty?

I can't imagine it's legal to have your job determined by what your partner does?

Sorry to hear this. That does sound a bit dodgy. I think you're safe for nda stuff as there's no clue or specifics about who the company is. Keep it generic and rant away.

    Gal Gadot........... Wonder Woman
The Joker looks like a good blend of Comic book and Nicholson influence I n the face, but it’s Mark Hamill’s voice I can imagine speaking.

That’s because this is the base game plus DLC. The base game originally came on a cart, so you would have expected this to be similar. Another issue some people have with certain switch games where they don’t want to be reliant on Nintendo servers being up to access/download their games in 10 years, etc.

So, I've come to the realisation I love and Hate the Prime Wars trilogy toyline. I love the concept but I hate the fact that some of the characters, and some of my favourite characters suffered for the gimmick.

For instance, Jazz is my favourite transformer, also my first. I have Power of the Primes Jazz and honestly it's a let down, the robot mode looks good enough that in my headcannon he's classics pretender Jazz but he doesn't hold together that great and he looks a little pinheaded.

Then there is Power of the Primes Grimlock his Dino mode sacrificed so he can combine, that tail is a mess, then there are his stumpy dino toes, it wouldn't be too bad if HasTak had stuck closer to the concept as it is you'll find to get the best out of Volcanus it's a good idea to pick up an add on kit.

And Finally Combiner Wars Cyclonus, the bane of my existance, a toy both wrong in robot and Alt mode. built on the Silverbolt mold as a cost cutting feature instead of the sleak futuristic jet we get a boxy mess whose only good feature is the proper nose design, and the robot mode is basically a slightly remolded silverbolt. His head looks like someone amputated his horns and his body lacks the curves that defined him. I mean I have Classics Cyclonus, he's a great figure with a couple of minor issues such as the Nose of the jet, it's too short and doesn't taper enough, and the whole toy should have been a voyager.

the point is the toys above are not bad toys, but they lose part of their charm due to the gimmicks that ruled the Prime war's Trilogy
