Also, this is probably the first time I have seen the comic version of Mercy (and Hope) in animated form, who are amazons on the comics, unlike in the DCAU. Surprised Nora accepted the invitation, after all Harley kinda-sorta killed her husband. Also, she seems to dress and look a lot like Ice, the superhero, now. Is Jennifer supposed to be an animated version of Glenn Close? Looks like her. Nice that they also explored the origins of King Shark. I think this was from the 1990s Aquaman comics where he had more mystical origins. Samson was clearly a parody of Sebastian and man that song was hilarious. Also, I guess Lex Luthor is alive? They did not make a big deal out of it either, he is just there. I mean I assumed he had contingencies for when the Joker betrayed him, but still. Also, they sure killed Eris easily. Isn't she a god? Wow, I did not catch that, I should have paused. Indeed a lot of the titles are familiar. We are like, 9 episodes into Season 2 dude. This is not really a spoiler.

I love Clayface always needing elaborate backstories for any persona he uses. He becomes a secretary for undercover but gives her the backstory of getting adult braces "a little expensive on a secretary's salary but worth it". this show is nonstop gold. The mercenary mouse from ep 7
Birds splattering on the invisible jet will always be funny. edit: oh dear god that Under the Sea parody about pooping was gold. loved the jabs at the incel fan culture from a few episodes before where the fan boy denounces the show because of the female cast and only watches because it is Batman centric. Loved them mocking the haters like that.
My guess is that Lex was with the other villains at Black Manta's BBQ party (or whatever event S1E09 was) when shit went down. They were probably laughing at the carnage up until their HQ blew up. jD001
Looks like I finished the first season on Syfy just in time. I don't see the episodes available to watch any more. Speaking of the first season though, I was a little surprised to see a DVD release. I enjoyed the first season, but I'm not sure yet if it's something that I'll want to purchase to watch over and over again. If I do purchase the show, I'd imagine that I'll probably just purchase it digitally through amazon, rather than pick up the dvd.
I didn't care for the Bachelorette episode. This new episode took a dark turn. Spoiler Dr Psycho goes full evil without the comedy, Sy Borgman dies to save his friends, and finally Harley has to revive the Joker because he is the only one who knows where to locate the missing Justice League. This was serious dark self-destructive stuff, I wouldn't be surprised if Harley ends up all alone again at the end.
Wow this episode sure turned serious, despite the funny Die Hard mock-up beginning. Poor Sy. Spoiler Harley practically re-created the Joker, so it comes full circle now. I loved Batman and Gordon working together, and he is actually getting things done. Wonder how he got a police force up and running so fast? And Psycho becoming the new nemesis... well, he was always the most serious villain of them. Odd though as I recall he too was freaked out by what the Queen of Fables did last season. Guess he decided to stop playing the "likeable villain". Now I guess they will free the League and defeat the Parademon army and Psycho next, but then will have to deal with Joker. It's annoying why they are not releasing shows on BRs. Why even use DVDs when BRs are available? They practically cost the same to make these days. DVDs are such an obsolete medium/format, I don't get why they are still using them. Same reason I still don't own BoJack Horseman, they only released it on DVD sot he TV rips I have are actually better quality. And can't believe I had to buy a hard to find Kickstarter exclusive to get Wakfu on BR. Not really familiar with her. Who is she? Oh I forgot he had a party. Odd then that none of them showed up since then. You do know an edit button exists? That was a hoot, in a good way. Spoiler Joker's back, but he's still messed up due to his brief period of sanity. And he and Harley have to team up to save the Justice League. Nothing like watching crazy exes working together. That Spanish nurse he was with was underratedly awesome. I loved it when she smacked the Joker and started cussing him out in Spanish. And I'm surprised she'd still take her romantic chances with him of all people. The Justice League are a mess from being stuck in fairytale land and pretty much had to go away to recover. Guess I can't blame them, but no one's around to stop Darkseid, STILL. And Psycho's controlled Ivy now. Incoming friend confrontation.
