My seller is Panda Department Store. They're good. I've ordered from them before. They answer my messages immediately & just extended my buyer protection again. I read that epacket can be delayed up to 3 months. I'm going into my 3rd month of waiting. I'm gonna wait a little longer. I'll start worrying if I don't get my stuff by the end of June.

I've had 2 packages delivered from China via Speedpak verses 2 others that have been sent via Yanwen and have been in limbo for 50+ days...so, needless to say, I'll be looking for ones who use Speedpak as a delivery method. (edit) one of my "Speedpak" packages were ordered a considerable amount of time after I'd made the ones via Yanwen.

FYI… Yanwen is just using standard ChinaPost ePacket.

 

SpeedPak has been the most reliable during the pandemic.

Yanwen? Supposedly one package has arrived in my area. 3 weeks since it was shipped.
ePacket? At least it's now on a plane, but it's been more than a month.
CNE? 2 weeks since shipping.

The packages are all different in size so not sure if they are comparable.

 

Okay so I ordered the last two Seacons from TFSafari on May 11th. They got shipped and moved decently quick but have been supposedly stuck in LA since 5/25. It said its been released from Customs as of 5/27 but Fedex hasn’t gotten it yet (that’s who is handing US transit) and there’s been no update from CNE since the 27th. I’m starting to get concerned and impatient with it

 

I cancelled all my china pre-orders and switched to a Canadian store since that's where I live. Fuck all that shit. Quite a bit more expensive but at least I know I'll get my items. Sheridan has been in transit since release, his left leg probably fell off in the box by now. My nippon-yassan stuff isn't shipping at all, even after I paid additional fees to get EMS. So fuck it. Out of country purchases are black listed for now

I’m still waiting on an IT01 Megs which was ordered around 10th April. Tracking info stopped on the 26th April. I know hold ups at Chinese customs have happened delaying for up to 6 weeks before they were released and then finally exported. The fact the seller went quiet on the 7th May and hasn’t responded to my messages between then and now is disappointing. I will lodge a dispute and get a refund.

I read that epacket could be delayed up to 3 months. March 20 is near the end of March so I'm giving it until the end of June.

I can be patient if there is an actual pandemic. But a lot of people are saying Covid-19 is nowhere near as bad as they're making it out to be. So I'm watching the George Floyd protests closely. I'm waiting to see if there will be massive spikes in cases & deaths. The entire United States simply got bored with the pandemic & went back to their regularly scheduled programming/routine.

These days you can't believe anything. There is no way to know what's true or false.  

I won't be ordering anything from China unless they can use Speedpak.

It was a bad time to ship in early March. China was under general lockdown in Feb and overseas shipping were mostly stopped.

March was when shipping resumed. You can guess what happened.

 

yeah, but i got orders in shortly before, during and after that restart period and none of those got stuck in limbo, and most got to me in fairly quick time. it was only the one order from ShowZ in Shanghai that got stuck, and it seems a lot of others experienced this as well.

the only other major issue i've had was a massive delay again in Shanghai, and that was shipped in April and got stuck there for a month and 2 weeks in local customs, but it finally got to me last week after 52 days in transit. so unless some miracle happens, i'm getting the feeling that my ShowZ package has been lost. on track17 the ShowZ package is labeled expired.  

i did have two orders from HZJ on eBay go AWOL from January. but i got my refund from him after 45 days and i replaced orders and got those with no issues. that's why i've stuck with eBay purchases with vendors using SpeedPak if possible.

 

Shipping is about to go up AGAIN. At least to the US.
