I had a legit rant to post here, but I forgot what it was. But, here's another gem from fb marketplace from today. I mean maybe english fail, but that's kind of rude of them. They can at least say "can I do $10?"" Which I would still say no, sorry  .

 

What are you selling?

 

Girls bike. The one with the tear in the seat  . My kid legit grew 2 inches last month. I bought it for $20. So, I am hoping to at least get $15 for it.

 

Maybe bump the price to 40$ so someone offers 15$.

 

  Trust me, people will just ignore it.

Anyway, I responded to that lady, I'd do $15 and she didn't want it.

Hope this isn’t violating the rules but...apparently I’m dealing with 6 year olds on the comments area on YouTube lol. They act like a 6 year old,have 6 year old voices,play roblox smh...idk lol. Apparently they want all cat lovers to die and want dog lovers to rule the world lmao. Idk if anyone has been through that but..and can’t take opinions lol... one of them keeps saying “Bad human!” Lol

 

Tell them that so long as Steven King's Cujo exists, the dog singularity will never come to pass.

If they're in a position where dropping an extra $5 on a reduced price is too much, I think they're just being cheapskates given $20 for a bike of any kind is more than fair.

 

It already sold. And there are plenty of half broken bikes for $10 in that size in my area if they really wanted.

 

Okay, it's time to talk fork lifts.

Fork lifts are a vital tool for mass transportation of production goods, and all around a source of relief, not fury.

That is, unless your day shift counterparts are complete inbred mouthbreathers who can't figure out how to restore settings.

I go to drop off a rack of bearing caps in the production area since they're ready for installation and I have to machine a TON more, and move to set the rack on the top of the stack. I slightly misaligned and needed to move to the right about 4 inches, and when I hit the side shift button the hydraulics start screaming because the idiots on day shift left it as far to the right as mechanically possible.

Part of this is me angry at myself because my first thought when getting the fork lift wasn't "Hey, I should go through and fix everything on this truck" as the expectation is that whomever else uses it has the common fucking sense to set all the equipment back to starting settings.

And don't get me started on the fork spreader. Jackasses from Maintenance take my truck to move things, bearing in mind that the stuff they're moving is highly centralized and on either wide pallets or flats that don't have fork pockets that necessitate the forks being perfectly lined up.

You know what DOES have those pockets?

My racks.

So when they get the truck with absolutely no goddamned need to spread out the forks, what do they do? Yep, spread them out. Then when they're done, do they put it back so the operators in my area can use it without having to stop production to readjust the equipment? Fuck no.

This is me. All the time. Even this post went through several drafts.

I don’t usually suffer from anxiety but having a lot of pent up emotions and not having a clue how to properly express them really makes me feel anxious.
