Well, first time in probably 2 months that I went out further away from home than just to do some shopping in the neighbourhood. But when my friend Chaoslock called me that not only is Müller having a 20% off sale on all toys, BUT Botbots Series 3 is finally out in Hungary, I got right on the tram and went there - wearing a mask and taking precautions, of course. Luckily being in the evening, not many people were on the tram. Even more luckily, I found a full case of the single-packs, nobody bought any yet! And they won't, either... :p  apart from 2 I am getting thanks to an US friend in other packs, I got them all. And also got Clobber. I no longer have hopes that 5 and 8packs will ever come out here, given how S2 8packs never did, so I can likely only get them this way.

Btw, I am sure this was posted before, but Target has a listing for something called the Caffeine Collective. :p  I smell a repaint of Javasaurus Rex and Latte Spice Whirl coming. The pics are just of S5 toys, though.

Well seems like the wait paid off for some people, but Series 4 Five packs are up for pre order on BBTS right now. Maybe we'll get the Single packs hopefully and a sign that future waves will show

Really all I'm after these days, the singles from series 4 and 5... well, and the 1.5 "must buy" 8pack with pollinator in it.

That'sgreat WHERE MY SERIES 5 SINGLES CASE PREORDERS?

Yeah, I'm getting impatient... it's like 2 months after the Series was supposed to be released now, it's making me a teeny bit nervous now...

Seriously, though, that's cool. Though it's odd that BBTS is suddenly carrying Cyberverse again after ditching it after like the first 2 waves as well...

That’s fantastic. Those are my favorite hunts, and as corny as it sounds, the best ones feel like an adventure. I guess a lot of toy hunts qualify for that in a global pandemic, but still. Congratulations on series three. (Pics when?)

Indeed, it kinda felt like an adventure. :)  My next trek will be on foot to a nearby Tesco, as KOs of some third party Legends sized Devastator in G2 colors were spotted there. Feels like the old hunts again, indeed - I remember when during Energon, I had to hunt down Scouts and Deluxes at MOL petrol stations, as those were the only places that had them, and they were often far off the beaten track for a kid without a car. :D

Quackles is simply adorable! Even has the most articulation I have seen in a Botbot, his head can rotate, his arms have shoulder rotation and bending - very good toy. And cute.
And I think I need to take some photos of all the pot-rexes, I think I have like 4 repaints of that mold! Only thing I have more of is the camera. :D
Looking at the chest of Latte Spice Whirl I am now sure this guy was planned as Cofeemus Prime first, he literally has the grill and windows chest molded.

Whoa. I guess nobody visits Allspark these days - me neither, but as they had the latest news about series 4not so long ago, I checked on them today, and found they shared not just an unboxing back in april, but a Goldrush Games stop-motion video! :D  It's really well done. They show the Botbots doing all sorts of sports, from wrestling with Lunchador vs Tamale Mal, to weightlifting with the Cardio Clique, and an all out swordfight - where we got the answer to the age-old questions, who'd win, pirate skull or ham samurai? And poor Aday cannot pick up Lightweight, too small arms! Or high-jump... Or play ball. But she sure can roll!

Transformers BotBots Gold Rush Games Unboxing Images! Plus, Never Before Seen Stop Motion Video of The BotBots! | The Allspark

And the video features some never seen before Botbots - like the commentator who "speaks" with Dr. Flaskenstein. I have no idea what that thing could be... a space probe? Or toy rocket?
They also show other Series 6 figures like the toilet and the skull, plus something that looks like a toilet brush. Also, repaints of Frizzle Fry, Prince Perfumius and Sergeant Scrubadub.

This is a bit of old news. I’m pretty sure it was leaked 2 months ago or something like that.

The s6 bots look like really generic blindpack pack toys. They stick out from the previous bots and they look ugly

"Ah, another day, another opportunity to SCIENCE! ...Yes, I believe I WILL use that as a verb from now on..."

    "Now where's--"
"Ow. OW, OW. Okay, that's... that's not moving. Gah, my injury's acting up again. Ee-Goo-- I mean, Eye-Goon?! EYE-GOON! Where are you?! I need some help here!"

"Whoa, gang! CHECK OUT HOW SWOLE DOCTOR FLASK IS!"
"Oh, no. No, no, no, no, no..."

    "WAY TO GO FLASK!"
"Yeah, man, you're looking pretty decked out now! You finally decide to bulk up some? You lookin' to join the Cardio Clique?"
"Of course not! This is just--"

"Oh, don't be shy, bro! You don't gotta be as swole as us to join-- just on your way!"
"Yeah man, you did a GREAT job on the upper arms, but you gotta work on those lower arms too!"
"Hey Lightweight, give him a hand, will you?"
    "That's not necess--"
    "I'M not Lightweight, YOU'RE Lightweight! I'M Bot-T-Builder! Where've you been?"

"Check the site, dude! I'M Bot-T-Builder, YOU'RE Lightweight!"
"The checklist is clearly superior! Lightweight is a derogatory name! YOU'RE Lightweight!

"Alright, you two just step to the side there and keep on arguin' and let the master come through..."
    "Oh, boy..."
"Hrrmm... they're right, Flask. You're pretty swole up top there, but your lower arms are little bitty sticks, son! Check THIS OUT! THIS is how you do it, brotha! You can't tell where my shoulders end and where my elbows begin!"
"Your arms are... literally ridged squares, H2-Ego."
"I KNOW! Isn't it GREAT? Check out this pose, brotha! Oh yeeeaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!"

"Oh, this is SO RIDICULOUS! WHY are all of you nutballs stereotypes?!"

"Do you have a... problem with stereotypes, my son?"
    "--Wha?! N-no, Plopfather, I don't. Please don't kill me."
"It sounded to me like you did. Now, do I really need to explain to you the importance of stereotypes?"
    "...Uhhh..."
*sigh* "It appears that I do. Do you understand, my boy, the problem with hundreds of characters being introduced in a short period of time? There is no time to introduced nuanced, realistic personalities, you see. Thus storytellers will use stereotypes to get across characterization in a short period of time-- that way the reader or viewer can understand the general personality quickly. It is not necessarily the best method, but with mass product distribution it is effective. Now, have I explained enough about this subject, or do I need to have Lieutenant Lo Mein here to take you down to the docks and show you an offer you cannot refuse?"
    "傻瓜!"
"No, no, no, I... I understand."
"Alright, then. Don't let me hear you talk about such things again, you hear me?"
    "Yes, Plopfather."

    "Whew... dodged THAT bullet..."
"Alright, brother, Lightweight and Bot-T-Builder here have both agreed with me, you need an intervention! We gotta get those lower arms jacked, son!"
    "What?! No! NO!"

    "Lift it! Lift it!"
"C'mon, boy! You can DO IT, son!"
    "Urrr.....ughhh...."
"Lift me already! I mean, DO YOU EVEN LIFT, BRO?!"
"Oh my Primus! Sir! Here, let me help you!"
    "Oh, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

"Whew! Thank you, Eye-Goon... that feels MUCH better..."
"You're welcome sir. I had just stepped out for a snack, I wasn't aware all THIS would happen..."
"So... wait a minute... all that beef in your shoulders... was just flab?!"
"Well, it's... it's not flab, it's my lab coat..."
"You're not fooling anyone sir, it's flab."

    "Disgusting!"
    "Take care of yourself, man!"
"HEY! I'm happy with how I look!"
    "You tell 'em, sir!"
"Aw, c'mon, Clique... let's go back to the club and pump some iron to get this loser off our minds..."

"...I'm still Bot-T-Builder, by the way."
    "GRRRRR--"
"Hold up there." *sniff sniff* "What's that awful smell? Smells like... ugh... burning rubber and.... something even worse..."
"Aw, it looks like Poo-Shoo 'ran into' a new friend! Haw haw!"

Congrats. Series 3 probably has some of the most solid new figures of any series though I might actually have to think about that. Quackles is easily one of my all-time favorites.

the video was a link supplied in the promotional boxes Hasbro sent out to various sites some months ago...

I do appreciate the screengrabs of the new guys though...

that weird announcer looks like it would transform by putting it upside-down (the four prongs look like legs of some sort of...furniture? Home kitchen gadget? Kiddie toy?)

A while back when we were first discussing this I had suggested that it was a public soap dispenser, and the face screen thing would be the little packet of soap in it. It works too, as we have seen all the other bathroom-relatedness tribe bots

Usually a case “revision” is when they bring out the same basic case, but switch around some of the figures.

So if we take the listings at face value, the case of blind packs will include some figures that previously weren’t available in these assortments.

    So what are the possibilities?

    1) The cases will contain old figures not previously available in blind packs. For example, maybe Grave Rave, previously available only in an S3 multipack, might now be part of the revised S3 blind pack assortment.

    2) The cases will contain duplicates. So instead of 24 different Botbots, you might get only 12, but two of each.

    3) The cases will contain figures from other waves - i.e. maybe the new S3 assortment contains a few figures from S2 or whatever.

    4) The cases will contain previous ‘exclusives’. Maybe this is the chance for the Comic-Con set or the Arcade Renegades to get a wider release.

    5) New figures! Maybe new Botbots will be added to S3 and S4, just like what happened with “S1.5”. Goldrush Quackles, anyone?

Or, as @Beastbot X suggested, they might just be mislabelled, and these are actually cases of S5 or something.

Who knows? Definitely worth keeping an eye on, though.

For pretty much every possibility except it being Series 5, that's gonna make people on the Wiki have to re-assess the cheapest way to get these, heh...

these are much smaller display cases too, if the images are to be believed..six per display sleeve (presumably there are four of these in a case to equal 24 total)

Ooo, those images are new. There weren't any when I first posted the listings.

Okay then, so these are probably the same exact case breakups, but stores probably requested the ability to only put out a small sleeve at a time instead of clearing enough space on their shelves for a full case. So we'll have 4 separated sleeves of 6 in a case, with most stores presumably putting out 1 sleeve at a time. This means that it might be harder to find a whole case at retail, BUT on the flip side if you buy a "6-pack" (also available at Entertainment Earth) or buy the full sleeve of 6 at the store, most likely you'll be getting one of 4 possible select 6-packs; they won't be just entirely random pulls.

These look tailor-made for those checkout lane impulse buy mini-toy areas they have at Walmart, Target, etc.
