The restock of the Flame Toys' Skywarp model kit hit my PoL.

Speaking of PoLs, got my shipment from them today. Took a while to ship but once it did, it arrived pretty damn quick.

 

Posted in the botbots thread, but for those that don't frequent it, Series 4 Five packs are up for pre-order. I'm hoping for the single packs to show up as thats what I missed out on, but seems like BBTS isn't out of the game with them thankfully as some of us had feared after so long.

 

I know this isn’t a transformers related product, but I’m sort of new to purchasing at big bad toy store. They’ve had their 10 inch The Child pop on pre order for a 2nd quarter 2020 release date. Isn’t the second quarter ending soon? Does anyone know when this should become available? It’s been in stock at a lot of other places. Thanks

 

apparently some kind of deal with hasbro and walmart relates to BBTS getting their stuff later than other people. i'm not sure the logistics of that though...

wait on it or order it from somewhere else. it's really a 'when it's in it's in' situation with BBTS.

 

Yeah it’s taking a while, I have a pile of loot building up with BBTS and I’m not in a rush to get it I guess, but I’d like it ASAP. Might have to just wait it out. Thanks!

 

If you divide the year into quarters, quarter 2 would be April-June. So until July 1 hits, you still got awhile.

 

The warehouse employee that has to lift my next POL is going to hate me.

 

Yeah that’s what I meant. Turns out most places actually have a June release date anyways, so it should hopefully be out then at BBTS too, thanks!

 

I think I'm gonna preorder DC Superman and throw him on my POL. If I don't receive a shipping notice tomorrow, I may message customer service over my Spy Patrol III, I preordered it on the 4th.

 

Been reading some of this thread and apparently BBTS has a problem with calculating their stock after an item sells out? I have SS BB movie Optimus, Dropkick, and a few other sold out studio series in my pile of loot. I’ve been waiting for some preorders to come in until I ship it all. What do you guys think the likely hood is that I’ll get all of those items?

In all seriousness i think you need to relax, i get it you get anxiety from online orders i get it too whenever i order stuff but bbts is very very very reliable the only time i havent ever gotten my orders was whenever i forget to pay my pre orders, i guarantee you will get your orders if you, theres a reason bbts has a great reputation if they didnt they wouldve had the same level of reputation that megalopolis and tfsource

 

Nah I saw someone a few pages back talking about BBTS, but thank you for this, it’s calmed me a bit lol. I just haven’t ordered from them in a few years, so I wasn’t sure and was getting kind of stressed. I’ll still prepare myself for the possibility that they could have had a mix up, but I feel better now. Thanks dude I appreciate it!  

 

You might be referring to my post from a few weeks ago, when BBTS informed me that a 3P TF that I had ordered and was currently showing as sold out on the site was no longer available. It turned out that when it came time to pack my order, the last one in their warehouse was damaged and unsalable, so they refunded me. I've been ordering from them for over 10 years now, hundreds of items, and this was the first time it happened to me, so IMO they're pretty reliable.

That being said, I think it's a good idea not to leave items in a POL for too long, just so you're not left with the last one of an item when it comes time to ship, and it turns out that last item is either damaged or doesn't exist because they miscalculated.

 

They don't throw the actual item physically in said person's box/account per say? Kind of like how comic book stores do it, you subscribe to it and it goes in your box...Guess that would be hard for BBTS to do it haha but still...Good to know then.

 

As far as I know, yes, they don't start putting your Pile of Loot together until you hit ship.

 

I have masterpiece sunstreaker and inferno on preorder at BBTS which is estimated to come in in June. I was just curious how reliable their estimates usually are?

 

Iffy. Sometimes on point, mostly a month off, other times several months. I'm still waiting for my "the bat who laughs" almost 3 months now

 

I usually check against Entertainment Earth (BBTS's closest competition), usually if they get it in, BBTS could be within a couple of weeks to a month. I don't collect the McFarlane stuff, but the DC Direct stuff was knocked a couple months off schedule by the pandemic.
