The panels on the arms can be swapped out to make the planet mode look more cohesive.

It is and I'm bumbed about it so much so that I'll hold off. Once it's in the 400 to 500 range, I'd want it bigger than Haslabs, not smaller.

. I don't see how they will when they are charging 18 dollars more for small bots. The150 might be shipping surcharges but I wouldn't think it's a misunderstanding. They priced well below Hasbro and now it's in the ballpark.

If that is a price hike, the shipping hike will put this on par. I want it but if I held out on toyworld's constructor, I can hold out on this.

Showz has a note on this guy that he won't ship till after the pandemic because of his size so I don't see how extra shipping costs that you have to buy yourself have anything to do with the figures overall price?

If i had to guess TFsource has more to do with showz's price then anything else. They are very much a well known bully, and probably saw this as an opportunity to get 400 a unit on a 250 item, and are forcing other retailers to up their prices. They have done this before in the past and it wouldn't suprise me in the least. Considering the new 399.99 price is 100% identical to TFsources price and that almost never happens.

How does a store overprice something that forces/bullies other stores to raise the prices as well? You just don't shop at tfsource cause they suck.

Did the people that pre ordered for the cheaper price have to pay the extra or did they get it for the original price?

There's a couple of videos on you tube explaining it, bobby skull face did an interview with a guy who ran a story and went over how BBTS, TFsource, and other sellers bully the manufacturer by saying 'if you dont force xyz seller to up their price, we will cancel our substantially larger order.' Guy was buying Fanstoys at 25-50 a pop, and selling them for just the price + shipping and was making maybe 5$ per bot. FT refused to sell to him unless he came up in price, even though FT wasn't getting any more money out of the deal since they had already sold him multiple pallets at cost, but FT didnt want to lose business with TFsource.

Okay. Where can I buy Fanstoys figures at cost from this guy? Cause that's a really nice deal.

Yeah, this has happened, is also happened with XTB Gravestone, ShowZ/Baba were told by the manufacturer to up their price after they listed it supposedly ‘too low’. And TFSource has been mentioned as the snitch before.

Its a bit of a shame with the shoulder pads to have to choose that either planet mode or robot mode looks inconsistent. Will be interesting to see how this looks in hand.

I think ill be going grey shoulder pads with orange wrist pads as a middle ground... potentially. Or maybe just accept that I transform so rarely that swapping a couple of panels isnt an issue.

That seems really daft on the part of tf source and the manufacturer because they would easily resell tfsourses order if the cancelled and tf source would just loose all its customers

Tfsource is also a wholesale supplier for many. That gives them more power.

Still you'd think that in this hobby the manufacturer would be the one with the power and collectively the other sellers would be able to stop price hiking by one.

Many times retailers bully prices. Walmart does it constantly. Bestbuy tells manufacturers to make their products fit certain price tiers, rather than price the product based on quality. Sometimes the manufacturer does the price control. That's why when you read the fine print on coupons or discounts they always have a disclaimer that the sale doesn't affect Bose, Apple, Dyson, and other price controlled brands. If you discount their product without the manufacturer's permission, your stock allowance may be reduced or at worst, risk losing your account.

Small fry dealers really have no power. A pallet or two of product (100 or 200 pieces) is nothing compared to the 8 to 10 pallets (1000+ pieces) the larger stores move.
