Wouldnt that make TW the parallel of MP-44 since they are both the

1) Most expensive transforming op in their respective continuation (at least currently, it wouldn't be fair to compare 3A as its non transforming)
2) ass load of accessories (which some argued to be the main reason for the high price point)
3) Possibility of QC issues (For TW its a small sample currently so it might not make a strong point of argument until more reviews come in)
4) its considered to be the most accurate representation of OP by the majority.

I would consider WJ / FS M09 to be similar to Magic Square instead of TE because

1) its bulky and beefed up
2) people argued that it has a crap trailer mode
3) its obviously the cheaper option compared to MP44 / TW
4) people are still on the fence on this one and is still waiting for a "more accurate" representation of OP from other 3P companies (which would make TE = Transcraft since i've seen quite a number of forum members lauding it to be more accurate compared to WJ just like how it was when people saw MS and made the comparison with TE last year)

 

Magic Quare is more established, so ToyWorld.

 

By that logic wouldn't the comparison make TW the least favourite in terms of design since as far as I know most people would argue MP44, then TE (or the other way around depending who you ask) but most of the time it would be Magic Square dead last.

 

That's the weird part. I don't see TW to be accurate at all. When you scrutinize everything, he appears more like a fraternal twin, similar, but not identical. Now the WJ one is like an identical twin, that opted for a different lifestyle and so ended up looking slightly different than the other "twin". Like how you sometimes see identicals where one is 3 inches taller/shorter or fatter/skinnier.

 

I'll be honest i like the M09 more but imo the TW looks more accurate to me, overall proportion wise. But im still on the fence, especially with MP styled tfs. Im going to at least wait for first hand reviews of M09 before i decide which figure is the safer choice to get. I feel it's unfair to judge TW's QC from such a small sample of people while M09 hasn't even had a sample review out yet.

 

True; it's more of a figure comparison, rather than one between companies.

You're not wrong, which in turn doesn't make M09 look better than F09. F09 would be the less dynamic looking KV OP, while M09 would be the less appealing KV OP.

 

Yeah i think i was looking at it from a more situational comparison which parallel the MP44 TE01 MS01 great war of 2019. I was there at the time............and I wouldn't want to go through it again *intense non existent Vietnam flashbacks*.

And personally my favourite is MS-01 compared to TE but it always felt like there were so few of us because whenever forum members bring up comparisons up poor Magic Square always ended up dead last, which made me felt how similar it is with M09. But I agree, if we are going with company comparisons i would say Magic Square = WJ in terms of established history.

hahaha .. be patient dude !! at least if later it will be released at the end of June, WJ is still keeping its promise of this June 2020 release. Hopefully the end of June will become the latest release schedule ... so that soon reviewers of TF toys can be reviewed on the YT channel and can we'll see .. well it's seen by everyone who is here as well as lovers of TF toys wherever they are

 

I think that the comparison between F09 and M09 is enough. I understood that we wants to make more comparison so that we can keep our eyes on this thread, but from my point of view, all comparisons until now are meaningless because no one can have hands-on review/video of M09.

It is unfair if we use some official image to compare a toy which is already launched to the market. I don't want to say which one is better because I love both F09 and M09, but I still tend to buy WJ's Prime and the reason is simple : it is cheaper and that's all.

 

ok, while we wait and obsessed, I'll show you what me and M09 fans noticed   I used Benz's layout, my thin lines I hope are ok (I went just from the ribcage down, want to do EVERYTHING else, arms and head later, but my skinny lines suck!).
