What is it that the rest of us are missing?? The torso on TW's is clearly larger. Just because his chest is ridiculously larger than the rest of the torso is, doesn't make it smaller than M09 's.

As far as the arms, they're made to fit in proportion the rest of the body. They don't need to make them disproportionately large to make them fit with an enormously large, not to mention smashed, torso.

We've posted pics of the CGI, as well as other figures that were made based on the CGI, and M09 is closer to those 3 than TW's.

 

Beside the chest angle on M09, I wish they’d make the chest windows a bit larger by a millimeter outwards and downwards.

You can see 3zero’s chest window wraps around the outer edge just slightly, while M09 stops just short. If they let it wrap around slightly too, it would help the look.

Also if they could drop the window by a mm, it would help improve the looks.

lol, I noticed this from the very beginning when I noted how accurate everything else was, It's interesting what WJ wanted to make different. I don't complain in these regards  

 

I respect the opinions, but I'm starting to get bored of the comparissons between T09 and M09, at the end of the day they are very different figures for different kind of collectors.

Even with all the issues, TW09 it's a high-end statue (transformable) for displaying and probably TW will fix the issues on the non-rushed next batchs. M09 probably will be a fantastic toy figure, solid, heavy and very handly to play with. But we have to keep calm, we don't even have seen a video to assure that will be a good figure or not. There's almost "nothing" yet from this figure, we're rambling. Don't misandestood me, It's very good to talk about M09, but I noticed that many people is obsessed to justify that it's the better choice over TW09, and as I see.. they are TOO different.

For my likes, M09 will probably accomplish my needings (I take tons of pictures everyday and I need a solid figure), but some day, if TW releases a TW09 without issues or dumbass accessories I will buy it too. I already cancelled my TW09 deluxe PO, because of the price and issues, I was expecting a BETTER finish in all the ways. But when you see video-reviews... and the video-reviews are focused on talking 30 minutes about the acessories and 10 minutes about the figure, it's beceuse something is wrong. I don't want to pay 180$ for non-movie accurate accessories that I will store on a drawer and for a figure that has random issues.

 

I angled the chest a bit and made the windows wrap to the side slightly.
It's very subtle so I'm not sure if anyone would even notice the difference, but I think his chest does look better.

 

It is only a simple modification but it feels much better than before. Hope WJ can consider it seriously and modify the chest (and face mask because the pattern on mask is too complicated) before mass production.

 

TW has been widely reviewed on YOUTUBE ... if you've seen TW product reviews, TW looks fragile and the parts shake (not solid) ... that means it's really a big problem for action figures that can transform! Moreover, the details are also not very good when compared to 3A (WJ is more seen trying to imitate 3A's details even though it is not exactly the same as what TW did) ... even though the TW brand that has been reviewed, clearly shows the crucial weakness of TW as I mentioned above earlier..but those who still close their eyes with the results of TW and still consider all aspects of TW are good, it is clear that I think people who have already bought it and do not accept the fact that TW is still a lot of weaknesses and those who adore it never want to admit TW's weaknesses! I admit that M09 is not exactly the same shape as 3A and I just say they look more like trying to mimic the shape and details of 3A than like focusing on selling lots of accessories and gimmicks rather than Optimus itself at an expensive price too !! better jump straight to buy 3A than to get a fragile figure, the parts are easy to shake (body parts / chest when robot mode), not solid !! this is my opinion, I do not mean to offend any people and I dare say it all because this is the Thread for Fire Scorpion / Weijiang Optimus M09

 

Those same reviews also said that he was solid and great quality plastic , just saying  .

But as I’ve said, both are good options, except everyone keeps trying to pitch in with their “um actually, mine is better” so you just end up with both sides defending theirs and saying nothing is wrong.

I don't think that anyone is saying theirs is better. We're just just saying that one is more movie accurate than the other.

 

Honestly, it seems that some people are trying to self-convincing for their choice, like if they need to know that will be the right choice. Don't know, sorry If I have this point of view but I don't understand repeating again and again "this figure is better because of this or because of that". As I said it's like someone is obsessed to defend the choice.
I recommend to stop comparing with TW09, we don't have the M09 to do a proper opinion about the quality, materials, issues, etc... maybe M09 will be a completely mess, who knows.

I repeat, it's good to talk about M09, but... all the conversations are focused right now to comparing at TW09. If you don't want to buy TW09, then why the people still comparing each other?.

 

I don't disagree that one shouldn't be compared to the other, but is kinda hard to not have a rebuttal, when someone comes on a thread for M09 and "accuse" it of having the shortcomings the figure they're comparing it to actually has.

I'm fine with people liking something different than I do, and anyone that is part of the movieverse toys appreciation thread knows this. Like @Benz said, my issue is when people close their eyes to the obvious, and clear, inaccuracies their toy of option has, and at the same time, criticize another toy for an inaccuracy that it doesn't actually have.

Again I'm not saying that one is better than the other. But I am saying that one is more movie accurate than the other one is.

 

I agree with u dude .. the comparison is common .. why ?? because in this case, their toy products (brands that produce them) refer to the Optimus Bumblebee Movie form .. Obviously the difference in brand names and also forms that are not the same as others can cause comparisons ... even suppose 3A is made a clone (bootleg) ver.), with the exact same shape will also be compared by 3A even with other brands that do not copy the whole of 3A.

here I have also said that M09's main weakness is its flat chest (this shows I accept M09's weaknesses and indeed do not consider it a perfect product, because the perfect product for me for now is 3A / 3Zero) ... and also I try to give my opinion if M09 "Trying" to imitate the shape and detail of 3A / 3zero "even though it's not exactly the same" !! and that I state from the pictures of products that are already available on the internet (and it really is like that fact).

For M09, we haven't seen how solid the figure is because there are no YT reviewers who reviewed it ... but it's different from TW, TW has a lot of reviews on YT and you can see for yourself and judge for yourself. In my opinion, it's not recommended for 3rd Party toys with such quality at that price.

I know that people's tastes are different and cannot be forced, maybe that closes the eyes of the weaknesses of a product because it prefers a lot of accessories and gimmicks than the Optimus itself (of them trying to imitate the details of 3A) ... whereas, according to some people , it actually becomes his weakness. Because apart from the quality and detail, the weapons, boxes, and axes are not visible when Optimus in action on the Bumblebee Movie. And of course that's why the price is also expensive, so I think it's better to buy 3A as well.
