Anyone interested in this figure? I've got one for sale over at the B/S/T thread.

I never realized they made a deaths head version of this mold and all of a sudden I’m tempted to buy a non MP scaled figure. What’s the name of the mold?

I'm thinking about picking up this guy, but I read a review about the Cyclonus/Boreas that said there's an issue with the waist snapping easily on the mold?

I can't seem to find another source to back that up and I searched "waist" and "snapped" and "broke" in this thread and can't find it. I know of the shoulder locking issue and that the mold can get stress marks on the wings (on Anubis/Death's Head specifically), but can't find another review or source about the waist snapping.

Anyone know any truth to this? I like to display & fiddle with my figures while I work so I don't want to invest in such a pricey item that has a high chance of breakage (if it's my own fault that's fine, lol).

I've had both lockdown and cyclonus and never had an issue. They get some pretty good poses and I don't think I've ever heard of the waist snapping.

Thanks, I asked around in other places and everyone said the same thing. I guess the review I read for Cyclonus where they said it was a common issue was inaccurate. I'll probably end up getting him since I love the look of him, the tabbing issues aren't a big deal for me since a lot of my HasTak stuff that I mostly collect has issues here and there too.

I just got my hands on a copy of Jaegertron and my waist crumbled on the first transformation. I found it impossible to tab the feet in alt mode without placing strain on the waist joint (and I followed along with the official transformation video)

I think I saw that same review and did the same due diligence with checking other reviews before committing to buy. Needless to say that I'm extremely disappointed that it turned out to be a genuine issue.

The peg that for the waist swivel is ridiculously thin. It seems like an inherently flawed design.

I also picked up a copy of Boreas along with Jaegertron, and I straight up cut off the tabs that the feet connect to so as to avoid any kind of strain.

Sorry that happened to you, but let me know if Jaegertron is otherwise intact and you’d like to unload him. I need parts!

Thanks. I plastic welded the torso and waist together, so he's functional now, just lacking a waist swivel.
