Please be a blue Bluestreak

It'd be cool if they released Bluestreak in two versions, the blue one being a Generations selects (like they did with red Swoop). I wonder if Alternate Universe Prime is from Shattered Glass or something.

 

I didnt buy the seige tetra jets because they werent g1 enough, and they didnt even match a lot of the art from Seige too ( which was g1 cartoon tetra jet ). So yeah Id for sure would buy those. in every color in fact

 

I'd say, WELLL DUHHHH. We all knew he was coming. Prowl and Ironhide are special releases this time, so makes sense that Blue Streak and Ratchet will be mainline releases.

I dunno how much more G1 they can get, they look very much like the tetrajets of the cartoon.
Also it is Siege, not Seige...

 

....I really hope we don't retread to much more ground from siege, I understand wanting some super true to form chug scale g1 core cast, but it all feels so dirty after getting so many of these characters in chapter 1... obviously we were getting another prime and Megatron, but do we really need to hit the Datsun bros again?

this stuff wouldn't bug me if they went more cybertronian in chapter 1, but most of those vehicals really just felt like kinda edgy greebly versions of the g1 earth modes... it all felt kinda half assed. lots of people are getting burnt out on this cast of characters again and again; I do understand these are some amazing, borderline micro-masterpiece representations of these characters, Its just getting a little tiring I think. look how excited people are about the more obscure characters like Doubledealer! like we can still do g1 stuff just... more new (old) characters?

here's to hoping chapter 3 does something a little more original.

If this happens, I think Earthrise Sideswipe is actually going to happen. Maybe a back of the leg retool and a new paintjob. Bright white in place of bone white. Red hinges on the side. Red canopy/roof.

 

If they retool anything, I suspect it would be the roof. But after seeing that Earthrise Sunstreaker has windows designed similar to Siege Sideswipe, I gave up hope on an Earthrise Sideswipe retool.

 

Awesome, then I might actually be able to find one that isn't 2-4x it's retail price.

 

I am loving Earthrise and seige. IT gives me a chance to get these classic characters in cartoon accuracy at an affordable price for my kids. Had they not done them I would have needed to get inferior versions of these characters at an expensive price. I hope they do all of g1 and beast wars !

If we get Shattered Glass Optimus, we also need Megatron (who, I feel, is the superior of the two designs).

 

it’s not the 84/85 cast it’s the fact we just got Ratchet/Ironhide/Prowl/Bluestreak/Seekerjets/etc.....and now we’re getting then again. Guys like Prime are understandable but mix it up some

Not if this is the last time we are going to see those designs for awhile. I feel like g1 inspired designs are going to go away for awhile after this. I don't see where else they could go with chug or how they could improve these designs in the immediate future. There's going to be a huge push for the movie stuff as the the young bucks get older and have more consumable income.

 

If that's the case we would need a Energon Megatron mold... Wait, it's gunna end up being a Redeco of WFC2/3 Galvatron with a new head... isn't it?

 

He is, but he’s also not just a repaint of Megatron, so he’s not nearly as easy. I still think they should have used the Sky Shadow mold with the TR Megatron head. Alas, that ship has sailed...

 

You mean with guys like Impactor, Spinister, Scorponok, Omega Supreme, the Power Dashers, Reflector, Snap Dragon, Apeface, you know, characters that haven't had good figures prior to WFC? Again, that's like half of both siege and earthrise

 

Siege Sideswipe has a Lamborghini roof and windows anyway. What he needs mainly is a spoiler and paint highlighting different details. I dunno. Maybe you could retool his chest details a BIT to resemble Sunstreaker's.

 

If I'm right honestly I just want Ratchet to outright whore himself out to Walgreens.

Have a Walgreens logo stamped all over the toy.

Have him do commercials for Walgreens.

Change his tech specs so his official function is Autobot Pharmacist And Guy You Occasionally Buy Some Knick-Knacks From.
