yeah, it does seem to match the original proportions.

    So what does this mean?

Full custom? Probably not, as it's not 3d printed- there's some flash on the seams

MFT Blaster V2? Hopefully, but I don't see why they'd make a toy at their competitors' scale. But, as Creedog said, the holes do match

Magic Square Blaster V2? They probably would've teased it, at the very least

Man this mystery runs deep. We’re just never gonna know how Soundwave looks next to Blaster for sure.

We’ll have to learn to live with it and with time I think we’ll come to accept it.

Blaster with a wider stance than Soundwave, tilted frame, Blaster standing back a little further, upward perspective. I can probably recreate this tomorrow with my kid's MFT Blaster and my MST OP. MFT Blaster is only like a cm taller than MST Soundwave.

i dont know man MS blaster is soooo much larger than prime. prime actually fits inside of blaster size wise.

this is the MFT blaster top that is easy enough to figure out by the elbows. i feel like the lower legs are different. i still believe there was a knees down swap if this isnt a shopped pic. they just look a little stubby even with the black.

but who knows really. if i had both bots i would just unscrew the legs and try it. maybe someone out there who has them could give it a try. **cough cough** @NOCV

Well spotted. That's some pretty good forced perspective - I couldn't see it at all until you spelled it out and even then I had to really look.

i don't see how the legs or any other parts could be swapped between the two. the size difference is way too significant for the parts to be interchangeable. i agree with NOCV that this is most likely a real good use of photographic perspective angle and posing to make them almost appear to be the same height.

can someone just please post to originator and just ask???? LoL

Is there any comparison to the new soundwave tapes and Ramhorn that came with Blaster? Just curious about the possible size differences as I’m looking into getting Blaster.

Yes, it's shown in one of the videos in this thread. I think I posted a screenshot of it. Soundwave's tapes are much larger than Blaster's, and Blaster is much shorter than Soundwave.

    well....shit

edit: dug up the pics of the sizes...looks like mft IS the size to “match” up the casettes. I just don’t want Ramhorn to look dinky...even if he already is ridiculous looking!

I really hope Magic Square has a Blaster 2.0 planned for this year or early next year.

Though a separate release of all of Blaster's main cassettes in the new scale would work too.

That’s the MST Ramhorn, right? Mech Fans might have the same exterior dimensions a safe assumption...?

The MFT Blaster tapes are larger than the MST Blaster tapes.

I think he meant that MFT Ramhorn might have the same dimensions as MS Soundwaves tapes?

IF Magic Square does a Blaster 2.0 I expect it would be a bit further out. My guess is they would finish the 1984 Autobots (plus repaints/molds of the group) since they teased the full group in a silhouette group with the ones they have done from the year already, then do Blaster with the 1985 group. Plus finishing Menasor which they have been working on since long before that tease. With Megatron coming up they will have finished the 1984 Decepticons. NOTE: Talking the yearly toy catalogs, not the cartoon seasons since that is the group MS showed.
