TLK also lost the studio $100 million. The marketing was the largest push they had ever made, and they couldn’t get the money back. It was a failure.

I feel the same way. I kinda hope Interstellar wins if I'm being honest because it's just an all around better movie. I'd love if they end up going with both though

TF1 is the only TF film I did not see in theaters. It would be a real treat if I had the chance to see it!

I\'m voting for Grease;  no one should have to endure Bay\'s excretions again.

I don't think I'd go to see either in theaters. I do enjoy the first Transformers, but I don't love it enough to sit in a theater during a pandemic. It's the sort of movie I'd rather just watch in the comfort of my own home. I do hope it wins for the sake of the fanbase though. I legitimately don't think I could sit though Interstellar in one sitting again, that movie was way too long and mostly boring to me. I might watch a cut down version.

Quoted for emphasis. I'm not sure why this myth of TLK being profitable and Bumblebee being a disappointment keeps getting perpetuated. I hope it's just people being misinformed and not willful ignorance.

TLK is among the biggest Hollywood flops ever and Bumblebee was "solidly profitable" (not a DOTM-level mega-hit, but a solid success nonetheless). Anything else is factually incorrect. People can bend the numbers to fit their agenda, but it doesn't change those facts.

Voted None of the Above - because theaters are like schools - breeding grounds for disease in today's reality & central air will infect us all...

My thoughts 100%. Since it’s a vote for which movie returns to theaters, Interstellar versus Transformers feels like the right situation. As someone who’s never actually seen Interstellar at all, my vote may lean towards that in the end.

Let me be clear. I will vote for ANY movie over the live-action Transformers franchise.

    Every. Single. Time.

Exactly. Michael Bay is definitely the opposite.
