Nope. They already released the trailer which forms Menasor's body. They have 3 figures already out, and DeadEnd is coming next month.

I was just mentioning FT because they're another dog in the race, that's all. But that's what I mean, there have been pics of XTB's combined form and the trailer in base mode out there, so they're definitely far along in the process, if not done. I honestly believe any delays are on the logistical side. Would it be nice to get new pics to prove that? Sure.

But again, we haven't seen anything on DX9's Dragstrip yet, nor has there been an official release date on their Dead End. All I'm saying is, if ever we get pics of DX9 Dragstrip, I bet we'll see stuff on XTB's trailer soon afterward. And even if its a month or two between that and the trailer being shipped, the same would hold for DX9 Dragstrip. But I don't think XTB will wait that long. Of course, this is all speculation, there could be huge problems going on with XTB right now, I don't know. But even with the radio silence, I still think they'll finish first.

 

We'll agree to disagree. As I said, in the past 598 Robots would get a sample first and then it's one or two months after before the actual release. Also unlike DX9, XTB also does a bunch of other decos. If they wanted to, they could have finished the G1 version last year, but they had to do the G2, and the toy versions as well.

In the end, I'm not sweating it too much. Yeah, it and some of the other Stunticon redecos should have been out by now, but I have no doubt they will come out eventually.

I'm honestly more worried about FT Dead End given how quickly their Dragstrip sold out. Dunno if its panic buying or scalpers, but given Dead End is my favorite of the bunch I'm gonna be pissed if I miss out. So I do appreciate DX9 is releasing their Dead End next!

 

So I jumped onto these recently. I was able to get all the G1 versions except for Deadend and Wildrider. I’ve gotten scammed on eBay for those twice. Has there only been 1 G1 release for these two? If so, how likely is there to be a 2nd release based on XTBs history?

 

Pretty likely, they just haven't been putting out anything lately, seems like they're still catching up from the pandemic. They re-issue pretty regularly though

Reading the comments on FB, they didn't say anything about timeline just that they are working on it, we already know this...so not really an update.
Someone did ask about orienting the leg cars to be on the front.
