True, but most people know how much it is if they are used to buying things in places with sales tax. I've never been surprised by the tax on anything I've purchased, or had the amount of tax be the thing that makes me reconsider.

 

I mean I'll buy King Poseidon off of you if you want to get God Poseidon in its place.

Nothing about Neptune's price or the preorder process should be a surprise. The gymnastics people are doing to be pissed at this point is astounding.

 

And here I was amazed at how Pulse managed to swing such a low price.

If you were pre-ordering this in Japan, from Yen to USD it's ~$206. Pulse having it for $185 means we're paying $20 less and that's without shipping of any kind tacked on (With Premium members paying nothing for shipping). Other figures in the same Selects boat have been cheaper as well, but usually by tiny amounts; Super Megatron is ~$62 compared to Pulse's $59.99.

 

Anyone ordering God Neptune will get free shipping regardless of Pulse Premium status because any order over $50 gets free shipping

I missed the PO for King Poseidon. Did I whimper and whine? Nope, I hunted each of the mechanical sushi crew and dipped them in wasabi!  Now he's complete.

On God Neptune, I hope Takara will fix the inherent issues with the Tentakill mold.
