Some Chinese show, maybe SGC. The easiest place to look up when it was is probably the Seaspray 2.0 thread since it has the least activity among the figures in the image. It won't have this image, but it does have others of that test shot.

And yes I also did say that he'll have a bunch of stuff at his back. It's easy to tell from the pictures on the first page.

 

Reading the replies before seeing the pic, I expected worse. This is about what I expected, so I’m not disappointed.

 

The only issue I have is that an annoying fin sticks out, otherwise a fairly good back. That hunk tho..... yeah.... that’s bad.

 

Backpack seems close enough for me.

Though its more like a hybrid with this back design with the train wheels.

With Astrotrain being a triple-changer I was expecting an even worse backpack, but I thought they handled it pretty well here. QC wise however... we'll see.

 

Look at that. There's a ton of junk at the back in the cartoon too. Certainly not flat.

 

Why of all things to mimick did they have to mimic a stupid tail fin sticking straight out the back... Since most collectors here treat these things like a 2d cardboard cutout, and don't care for the back (except when defending FT) they could have easily made the back better than the source material.

 

It's going to waste a lot of space in the display unless that can be removed. And maybe it does remove and turn into the shield piece like the G1 toy?

 

Nobody knows how to suck the joy out of toy collecting quite like the FT haters.

Can't make excuses, Hydra is a six changer and his backpack is clean as a whistle.

 

So no-one's pissed about the backpack with all these promo pic action poses, but when a side view is discovered it's suddenly a tragic miscarriage of engineering? This one seems forced guys, I think it's fine!
