WJ’s is just as wide, with a way to wide abdomen. I’m talking about just the chest, as in window section, not entire body which seems to be what everyone talks about when they keep trying to argue WJ is somehow more accurate. They are both accurate in different ways.

 

I don't think that WJ's abdomen is wider than what it should be. If anything, WJ's Prime pulls the curvature at the abdomen a lot better than TW's.

 

maybe who thinks TW's chest is better than M09 because TW's chest is bent forward while M09's chest is flat without bending forward ... I also agree with you, that the proportion of M09's chest is good proportion, TW's chest is too wide exceeds the hips ... and also the proportion of TW's stomach is also weird too short and the mold parts on TW's stomach are ugly compared to M09's (IMO: this is what makes TW look ugly because the chest is wider than the hips and stomach shape shorter) ... M09's belly is longer and the proportions are good and the mold parts on M09's belly are much more futuristic than TW's   ... oh yeah I think TW's legs are less muscular than M09's ... so the proportion of M09's is more good compared to TW Hehehe

 

Everything you just said, are my thoughts on them as well!!

On a positive note on all this, ShowZ just advised me that M09 should be ready to ship next week, and that he'll be good to ship to the US!!  

 

woow ... how many days will it reach you? I think mine is still longer than yours hehe ... If your M09 has reached your hands, I hope you want to share the photos here hehe

 

I'm in the US, and according to ShowZ's new shipping method, it could take 20-30 days, so I'm really excited!! And of course, I'll post pics as soon as I get him!!

 

Finally, my reasons to choose him over the TW09 are:

- The torso is not compressed.
- The sculpt and details of the legs is superb.
- Vehicle form clean, shiny with better proportions.
- It not comes with imaginary accessories that increases the price absurdly.
- I think that probably will be a better toy to handle with.
- TW09 on the firts batch has demostrate that has came full of issues and design flaws. It's more like a display statue than a toy. I don't like statues... I like to take tons of pictures of my toys  

But evidently has some flaws:

- Torso seems to be too wide and flat, but in some pictures the windows can be curved a bit, not sure if this is possible or not. I show you a picture with the window's articulation.
- Head seems to be small.

Anyway... how can ShowZ ship this the next month and there's no video o pictures in-hand yet??  

 

I think mainlanders and HK will get it first (and majority of Asia and maybe even Oceania)...then those in the U.S, will get it 45 days later...that's usually my experience though, I get my toys from showz so late ;P

 

it looks like your choice is right, friend !! ... IMO, instead of choosing TW F09 it seems better to choose 3A right away because there are still many weaknesses in this TW F09 ((such as poor proportions, most accessories are not important, weird stomach molds are not looks futuristic, the hand mold on the part that can be replaced by the blue part of the cybertron version (both earth mode) looks worse than the M09 because the M09 hand mold is more similar to 3A, the joint is weak due to the possibility of no rachet joint, foot mold that looks less muscular (M09 leg mold are better muscular almost like 3A's), the shape of the robot leg is still clearly visible when in truck mode, etc))

 

So the ShowZ website shows that you can buy him now instead of preorder, but still says preorder on the top right hand side.
So I asked when they expected to ship, and this was their reply:

 

Is showZstore a misunderstanding ?? the thing is, showZstore says "F09" not "M09" ... does that mean TW F09 ??

 

I think it's a typo on their end cause I included the M09 pic in my original msg. But I'll double check with them.

 

F09 was the model code used when it was under Fire Scoprion.

Toy Lab's has a WAY better alt-mode:


(And I think its bot mode is as good as anyone else's) Toy Lab TL-01 Dark Knight (Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime) But it'll be a long wait, it's the "newest" and "least far along" of them all I think.

 

That I won't argue, but his torso is also too compacted. They could of course correct that by the time they have an actual prototype.

 

Disagree with the first part, only because I discount all renders only presentations until theres at least some type of 3d printed mock up. But I'll agree with the later half of the wait and least far along part. ;p
Have you seen AlienAttack's Hound? Looks great, but just a render so far too.   EDIT: or was it, im now looking through this post ST Studio TLK Hound on it....hmm

 

TransCraft is the actually the "least far along", given they have a skeleton model of it's back in robot made.

 

Been looking at the headsculpt and I do believe he's looking quite handsome.
