Obligatory Soundwave & Minons update.



Can’t say I love the new FRUMBLE mold (or ravage...long live IF ravage) compared to the titans return molds, but I appreciate the attempt to get these guys to fit in soundwaves chest.

 

I’m pretty sure the Frumble mold is going to be used as a basis for new Powermasters down the line. If Doubledealer is any indication.

 

One of the Walmarts near me had over cooked Magnus marked down to $35 so I picked one up today with the tips I got bagging groceries. My daughter confirmed, my smell, that the black compound is play doh. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with Magnus but I have to admit he is kinda cool looking.

 

I fucking love this toy. It's almost perfect. Imagine Sky Lynx hooked up to this big bastard though, eh? Pepper in a few Ironworks, maybe an Astrotrain (cos they're all proper bezzies when the tape stops rolling) and get some more Micromasters involved. Even Grand Maximus and whatever the hell he turns into can have a go. BRING ON THAT LUXURY LYNX OF THE SKY.

Really like Apeface alot. Especially with the oversized KO Voyager Titans Return Mindwipe, Skullcruncher, and Weirdwolf. They look really great together in the same size class. Really looking forward to adding Snapdragon to this bunch:

How does Apeface scale with those Over Sized Head Masters in bot mode? I was thinking about purchasing them but only if they scale well with my other figures in bot mode..

Been awhile since I bought a Siege figure. But this bot is too much of a looker to pass up.

 

Honestly, not well. They scale pretty well in beast mode but the oversized KO guys are about an inch taller in bot mode.

Basically, in bot mode, the oversized KOs are using the old Voyager scale while Siege Apeface is the size of one of the newer voyagers which is, about the size of an older Deluxe figure.

 

He is a looker indeed. Ties Nova Storm as my fav seeker from siege. Just needs his trusty flamethrower.

So its not show accurate but i decided to give Netflix Magnus his look from the trailer where he has a cloak in this instance said cloak is a spare from SS Megatron but it gets the job done.

 

Even with Pinpointer and Cog's help, poor Crosshairs is in trouble.
