I would love to have seen what FP would have done with the Pretender shells.

 

Same here. If only to see the shells be more articulated and detailed.

 

I like the pretender shells enough to want them just as vinyl figures to be honest - I think they fit into an interesting place in Transformers species evolution too so I find them interesting for that reason too.

 

My problem was the cost. The Dinoking shells looked great, but they were so pricey.

 

I wish I could find a beaststuctor for sale its absolutely impossible to find one right now!!

 

I do so hate to raise a thread from the dead like this, but does anyone have any good ideas where to find one of these bad boys? All of the usual spots are tapped out.

 

What scale is it?

 

Best you can do is buy the Dino team from TFSource and pretend. You're six years too late.

 

It's about the same height as a CW combiner (11ish inches). For JG1 stuff, scale has even less of a meaning than elsewhere...

 

If you use them as the MicroMaster or Minibot sized figures that the toys were, they're about right for an MP collection.

With FP coming back from the grave and the renewed interest in Monstructor and Dinoking, I do wonder if there's any possibility of this coming back around too. They were out at a financially difficult time for me. I'd love to see how the monster shells would have turned out.

 

Also with the official Dinoking not having shells, with enough warning I would love to get another shot at their Dinoking set w/shells.

 

I’d love this to get a reissue, but I don’t know about shells. The Dinoforce takes up a ton of room with their shells and I just don’t have that kind of space available anymore.

A reissue of Monstructor though? Yes please
