Just received an arriving soon notice for their restock of the Flame Toys Skywarp model kit.

 

Its not BBTS fault that hasbro cant get them their stuff on time.

 

Well, just hit ship on a decent sized PoL (biggest piece being Planet X Trypticon), flat rate shipping, and no hot items coming in that I know of. Let's see how long it takes in this Nurgle Blessed time.

 

Got a shipping notice for my PoL after a week since I hit ship. That is using the 5 bus. day FedEx shipping option. Should be here Saturday. Can't wait.  

 

So does POL reduce shipping price? Just making sure as I grabbed a Vader and put him there.

Yup, POL shipping is always a flat $4. Though if like me you live in a state that charges tax for online orders, you will also get charged the tax for your purchases at the time it ships.

 

I hear you buddy, NY and Frisco are united in there disire to bitch slap you with a fee. It is about 8% in New York, I learned this when I had to pay an extra $40 for my new $500 computer.

 

Planet X Trypticon is my FAVORITE TF in my entire collection (and that's saying something-- see sig). Enjoy (though make SURE you have the head pointed the right way during transformation or a fang can snap off)!

 

I was gonna make a Billy and mandy reference. But its spelt Nergal there. So uhh. Anyone else keeping overload on BBTS as a backup incase both Hasbropulse and amazon fails?

 

Is Overload really going to be out in June according to BBTS?

Pulse, Walmart, Amazon has ~Oct 1. I don't recall what Target had, but I think it was Oct as well.

EE has Overload for August, along with Scavenger as his wavemate.

 

In my experience BBTS is as reliable as anyone. It will take time, but they'll come.

Spy Patrol 2 wave is still in my preorders list, ordered in early December.... I don't think it's coming.

Ive alway's been a fan of BBTS for their great customer service, but they have a bad habit of not cancelling preorders when it is very obvious a restock is not coming. I once had a model kit stay on preorder for well over a year and a half before I finally cancelled it. That said, I agree that they have been mostly reliable in the past, not as much lately. That part is probably 100% out of their control though.

Actually was going for a WH40k reference. Nurgle being the Chaos God of pestilence, disease and entropy... and is very cheerful about it.

Just got a ship notification on my order, granted Fed- Ex will not pick it up from BBTS till at least 9pm tonight.

I'm just gonna cancel my preorder for the spy patrol tomorrow, If I want it, I know a Brick and mortar guy at my mall who carries selects when this all opens back up.

 

Be careful. This set is climbing in price on eBay and restocks aren't as plentiful as we initially believed. At least keep the preorder open to cover your bases so you don't come back here crying about missing the set. And just because the guy carried them, doesn't mean he'll reopen soon (or soon enough to fulfill the solicitation for those) or at all. With the way everything is going right now, ouch.
