ShowZ's price is what I was hoping for. Now the question is, buying this now or waiting for a possible release of Grand?

 

Aaaaand, ShowZ's price is what got me to jump on this. Missed it the first time with TW, but I think the original price was always too much, and I was perfectly fine skipping it. at $100, I gave it a decent thought but I don't know if I would have grabbed it in the end. This price made it a no-brainer. Bought.

interesting, ShowZ lists Ford at 23cm / 9.05" and Infinitor at 22.5 cm/ 8.85". Wonder if that slight difference is noticeable. Would definitely want a Fort Max that is slightly taller than Huge Dragon / Omega Supreme.

Since this, like several other releases before, is just Zeta releasing the figure that was previously released by Toyworld it will be the exact same figure (with new paint) and thus the exact same size.

I'd say the 22.5 cm from the Toyworld listing is correct, and the 23 cm is Zeta being lazy: it's about/close to 23 cm (i.e. 22.5 cm).

 

I have the ToyWorld Infinitor and Grant. Both are great figures, but need the upgrade set to get the double barrel cannon and the Master Sword. Zeta could have really gotten a 1-up on Toyworld by actually including these in their release, but oh well. I\'m set either way.

 

Preordered from ShowZ, the price was too good to pass in the end. With this, Fortress Maximus with 4 different figures (or 3.5 if we consider that the UT one is only the head) is going to become the most represented character in my collection. Unless they announce Grand before this will be released, then I might decide to switch preorder. At this point, I might even go for the Mastermade version just for the sake of completeness...

 

The center piece is just held in place by tabs, so it's easily removable. The larger piece is pinned, so will take a little more effort to remove.

Nope, that's the official MP Prime.

 

That's the official MP-10 from Takara. Note the unpainted eyes and unpainted clearance lights on the roof of the cab/top of the chest.
