Technically true, but it doesn't quite capture the full picture. Hot Rod was produced on a lower budget allotment than the current MP standard, so he couldn't take advantage of that magical shapeshifting engineering design they're now capable of. Arcee is just an impossibility because 85% of her vehicle mode goes absolutely nowhere on her robot mode. So, eh, compromises. Plus creator appeal, on account of Arcee's remaining inaccuracies.
Because chchch is a diehard fan who doesn't need to be paid to photograph or Pshop an image. Most often than not, especially Hb images, the people hired couldn't care less on what image they take. Us fans, well we just enjoy it.
Weirdly this is the explanation that makes the most sense to me chchchch, let's have a digibash of her with one of those nice white shorty labcoats on...
He also had a weird mashup of designers that aren’t really a part of the main masterpiece team. And he had that forced matrix gimmick which kinda messed up the torso.
Thanks for noticing that man! Yeah they seem to be phasing out the table background for whatever reason...I think Tigatron might have been the first to exclude it entirely. Maybe they think it's starting to look quaint now? I agree, but I still like it I guess they're still taking the actual photos against it though, because you can see a spot they forgot to edit out:
A true mad lad! How’s your eye feeling with that pinpoint accuracy firmware update downloaded and installed!??
Haha we'll see Thanks guys, though I usually only notice those things once I do a digibash and am forced to go over every detail! Unrelated, and I'm sure this has been noticed but I don't think I've seen anyone specifically mention it, but you can see in the back car view that her thighs do end up in the "traditional" place but are just covered by car panels (kind of like MP-44's arms). The thighs appear to hinge apart on what I assume are those panels on the inside leg in robot mode. This places her pelvis at the back of the car, but the chest is all the way in the front, so it will have to swing down quite a way I think! Maybe the transformation is slightly more interesting than I initially assumed (I don't know how the T30 Arcee transforms though, so maybe this is standard).
Yup, seems to be pretty similar to T30 Arcee's transformation Here's how T30 arcee looks like from underneath.
Cool thanks for that comparison, it does look to be pretty similar! The main (possible) difference I see is that I believe the crotch piece on MP-51 is visibly close to the hip/thigh joint by the back of the car. Thus I wonder if the torso actually splits in two for transformation, or at least the chest piece swings way down and clips onto the torso after compressing the backpack (rather than being directly attached by a joint like T30).
So, is Arcee taller than Azalea? I just received Azalea today, and she's dainty. I do really like her though.
