Do teams need to have unified colouring? The Combaticons didn't, nor did the Stunticons.

I kinda wish they had Bios, and clear Job/Duties/Ranks on the Team.

Maybe, but a unified colour scheme is sort of a legacy thing for the Constructicons. RotF was the only one version that didn’t have any sort of unified colour scheme (outside of Kreo).

No. But I think it helps to make them look more teamish.

Though I have to see how they look in person when combined.
Yeah but I love the unique looks they have.

I think unified coloring works for a Combiner at a "typical" pricepoint, but the larger/more expensive one gets the less appeal it has, especially if it is a redeco. Spending multiple hundreds of dollars for a Devastator where each toy has its own interesting color scheme IN ADDITION TO forming a big bad 'bot works better for me than "everybody jumped in a vat of green and purple".

Now you have me wanting a movie Devastator done up as Joker from The Batman.

I actually prefer the idea of teams that don't have unified colors. Makes more sense for the whole "Robots in Disguise" thing that I feel isn't really acknowledged anymore.

I could totally see a typical scumbag Hasbro move being this box set is the only way to get the official Studio Series Skids and Mudflap, like the ones everyone’s gonna want.

But the less popular ice cream truck will be the mass retail release.

Man, I would want the ice cream truck so much more than the lime-and-orange sherbet versions. Was always tempted to pick up the ROTF figure, but couldn't get past the bot modes.

Lord, I really want a Skids and Muflap figure. I have so much nostalgia for them but I’m not going to get into that right now. I hope they’ll both get a proper Studio Series figure soon.

I feel like people take that tagline far too seriously.

It doesn't really matter that the alt-mode is particularly conspicuous (unless it's a giant robot dinosaur...), but if you look at it and your immediate thought isn't "that's a robot!", then you're probably pretty good.

It's the same way that James Bond's cars are flashy as all get out, but your first thought wouldn't be "that's a spy car!" when you see it racing down the street.

I’m not saying no one wants the ice cream truck, I’m just assuming the green and orange ones would be more sought after...

I know for me personally I like to have the “best version” of the character and that to me would be the green/orange bots. If they even get made.

Same here. I don’t care much for the whole ice cream truck.

I'll tell you a secret: "best" is subjective. I think you mean you want your favourite version, just like I would. We just have different favourites.

I've always preferred ice cream to sherbet myself.
