While on topic, who's collecting the backdrops? I know I am at this point. Also, any ideas on how to.... Don't know how to word it.... Make it sturdier? Like maybe putting cardboard together with it or something?

 

Yes glue it to a sheet of cardstock or cardboard once its assembled. Not corrugated cardboard though.

make yourself a place to spray outdoors (throw down some newspaper or scrap cardboard)

Very lightly spray the back of the Teletran piece, wave back and forth a bit to help dry, then do a second light spray (this seems help it go down easier and more permanently)

This stuff is SUPER STICKY, so you can be super light with it (it will also make your arm hairs feel weird   )

after you've got the back sprayed, start by putting down one corner and very slowly kind of roll it onto the card stock, going slow and careful to avoid bubbles or wrinkles: bubbles you can usually massage out, but wrinkles are forever.

 

Just got email from Walmart that my Ultra Magus box is now officially backordered, two months after ordering it. Site lists him as out of stock, as expected. Not gonna hold my breath as far as them getting any back in, but we shall see, assuming I don't just cancel the order soon anyway.

 

They will get more. It’s a $60 toy of a B tier character (who I love) that you can’t even see what you are getting when you buy it. They’ll be giving him away in six months.

 

yeah, given the price and package style (windowless) for him, I see him being the big shelfwarmer of the line (which I hope doesn't keep us from getting more Leader redoes)

Not Surprised, many area's still have the 35th and Siege Megatron shelf warming together.

The Quintesson Judge is moved to Wave 3 with ER Megatron, 2 Megatron's for each Quintesson.

It's possible we could have Siege, 35th, Netflix, and ER Megatron all shelf warming on the shelf at the same time.

 

The sad thing is this is 2 cases' worth of scrapface... and the shelfwarming of the other figures dooms that store for primus-knows how long...

 

So, I got the email from Walmart saying that UM is on the way and scheduled for May 29th Delivery. I did also get back order email the day before.

 

I got the same Ultra Magnus email. Not as excited as I thought I’d be, but hey it’s something.

 

My shitty Walmart that never got the 35th had one each of Meg and Hotlink on the shelf with a bunch of delxues. No cardboard display though. Now I can cancel Megs and Hitlink and not worry if dot com doesn’t get them.

if they had 3 scrapfaces (only 2) I might have bought them too... but $60 saved

I went to my local Walmart today to purchase an Earthrise figure and pretty much every TF toy has just completely vanished! I’m not joking! It was as if someone just flew in and bought everything. The shelves were almost completely bare. The thing is, just yesterday the shelves were loaded with Earthrise figures and Studio Series. But now, all that's left is some Studio Series constructicons and a few Netflix Hotlinks. It was as if a Transformers toy massacre took place. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It's crazy they can sell so many figures in one day. I've never seen them go so fast. Just thought I'd share this because I found it to be quite funny.

 

Heh. Some backorder. Only Walmart would email me yesterday morning to say my Magnus was backordered only to tonight suddenly announce that it's shipped and will arrive on Saturday. lol.
