It's just a term I use for transformers or other action figures that have too many loose parts.

If I was you I would keep the order and just resell it for a higher amount since it will be in whatever region you are and people can have it in hand faster. People pay extra for that for some reason.

Im keeping my order. My display pieces get transformed every so often, but 90% of the time it sits on a shelf looking pretty. Sounds like you want a figure you can man handle all the time. I would recommend the OS SS-38 then.

Is the deluxe still coming with the support post with the stand? I want to recreate the OP jumping scene from the 86 movie.

Believe it or not, most of my collection is on display a majority of the time, but when I do pick one up I want to enjoy it, and this thing is giving me MP-36 vibes. Like it's a chore to transform, but at least MP-36 is solid in both modes (gun mode is almost solid) this appears to be a high-end raggedy doll based on the reviews I have seen so far.

Also, that truck mode is becoming more and more ugly as I look at it. The bot mode is what sold me on it initially but it sounds like I'd have to add my own fixes straight out of the box (i.e. loose shoulders, loose chest, loose wrists)

Also, why recommend OS SS-38? Aoyi Mech, would even be a better option than that. Lol.

Wow, it takes basically nothing to scare some of you people off. Well I'm still very much looking forward to this figure and I'm going to enjoy the hell out of it.

You can cancel orders right from your order status page on ShowZ now. Though I don't know if there's any sort of deposit refund/credit that way.

MP-36 was daunting at first, but after a couple of time it got easier. Me personally like more complex transformations on figure. I think it is one of the reasons I like FT figures so much, so I can keep transforming them.

Cool. Deposit was only $1 so I don't really care if I get it back, but good to hear it gets refunded as points.

Man this thread....getting me wavering back and forth on this guy. i have a deluxe preorder at the awesome price of $170.99 shipped from showzstore (i guess teh shipping will be slow way after pandemic)....BUT i'm not a fan of pins falling out or things that don't stay together right and it seems like luck of teh draw here with the minority sayings its tight and the majority saying it doesn't quite lock in. ugh. what to do. sure, i coudl keep and resell but its a hassle and the profit won't be that much most likely. if i cancel am i goign to be missing out on the best bb movie op until a newer better one is released (who knows how far out toy lab or transcraft is or it it will be better? not consdiering fire sscorpion). i dont want an SS38 based OS KO with improvements. i really want to enjoy it....i guess i'll keep checking back here to see what the majority of rest of the figures incoming look like (the 95% of the standards i guess and the first 5% of deluxes will probably be out before mine gets shipped). i guess worst case situation is i get it, dont like it and have to sell for a loss (if opened). ultiamtely i hope a smaller one (like 9-10 inches) gets made too but i just really like teh bb movies prime design i won't mind having thei big "out of scale" one and a smaller one (which hopefull transcraft's is).

Ok, there’s issues. I feel like a mountain is being made from a mole hill. There are some legit complaints, bandwagon complaints, and people just making stuff up and don’t even have the figure in hand. This figure looks beautiful, and I am keeping my preorder. I’ll pass judgement when I get my personal copy in hand. If it sucks then I’ll sell it. One mans trash is another’s treasure

If a pin does fall out put the end in a pair of pliers or vise grips and squeeze. Now the end won't just come out. Don't crush it. You're just roughing up the end

Exactly! The majority of the people I’ve seen griping about it don’t have a copy yet. They are just snowballing off two people or so who have had an issue or two.

I’m willing to bet for every 10 people that have a copy, maybe 1 to 2 post about it HERE on the forums or AT ALL.

it’s just like how two or three bad yelp reviews can tarnish a restaurants reputation. People look for the negatives.

It's not the NUMBER of people griping, it's the PERCENTAGE. Very few people have it, so if 3 people have issues, then that's like 30% of the people we know who have it. It's probably not fair to pass judgement until it sees a wider release, but it's also worrying that there are issues that seem to be repeated, even in a small sample size.

Very very true. If one person had it and it had problems it would have a 100% QC problem rate.

Ive kinda disappeared from the thread but what are these "big" issues people are on about?
I gave Emgo's review a peek last night and really the only thing I noticed him say were the shoulders and sunken chest. Are these it? Because if so, there's easy ways to "fix" those

For the shoulders, articulate them on the ratcheted joint, not the friction transformation joint and voila. Seems like most here get that but I can see why it wouldnt be "obvious" when handling.

As for the chest? I noticed this too when I was messing with mine. My solution? The bumper/matrix chamber folds up a few times into the chest so what I did was I just didnt fold it up all the way flat inside. Took a little guess work and adjusting to get enough to sit high enough but I left enough folded down that it kinda rests on where the tires are inside and it keeps his chest up where it needs to be, and not sinking over his belly. It still doesnt lock, but its stable and secure and it keeps him where he needs to be.

Again, my only real issue are the wrists on this guy. Some floor polish'll probably help with that, but even then I wish they'd reinforce the balljoints for a next run. They're fairly thin.

Any other concerns? I can try addressing them!

A few ppl mentioned pins falling out or ending with with two left pieces instead of a left and right, parts coming off like the horns on the roof of the truck.

Various, but there were a few who mentioned pins falling out.

Yeah, the chest, shoulders, and wrists are a universal issue and can be chalked up to being a design flaw but pins falling out is just poor QC.

I decided I'll keep my preorder and keep him as a place holder if something better comes along.

According to @Hound2501 they're just extra pins. Don't you know, right before they seal the box, Toyworld sprinkles extra pegs like an Olive Garden parmesan grinder?? C'est magnifique!
