    Yeah that’s certainly one I remember. I also remember looking in the thread where people painted the face themselves and it did so much for the figure. It’s insane how much a difference paint makes on a face.

    The problem is that plastic is often slightly translucent. You don't really notice it all that much but it's enough to really wash out small details. I noticed it when I got combiner wars devastator. I was surprised when I looked closely at just how good all the details were because the thing just didn't look great.

    This is why I hope they release better-painted versions of the Studio Series constructicons eventually. The molds are really sharp and detailed; they just need some paint to show it off!

    While I agree painted details are nice, ESPECIALLY in NON-FRICTION areas, I HATED the fact that his face was metallic Silver and his hands were gray.
    They should be the same color, no matter what it is.
    Unpainted gray, fine.
    Painted silver, fine.

    I'm glad they chose one cohesive color. Bring on the Chaos... Bring..er.
